Explaining Gearbox Shift

Yeah, I've had a total of 7 keys so far and used 3 of them. All were purple items, two were weapons (SMG and pistol) and then the other two keys just gave me two grenade mods each. They are all decent items, just nothing really awesome or better than stuff I have found from bosses or random chests. Still, it's free loot that is at least good to sell for cash.

I think I've used it around 5 times now and gotten good loot each time, just lucky I guess!

You ALWAYS get purple loot from the box, scaled to your level. That's the whole point lol.

Agreed but there seems to be some confusion here since I've seen it said repeatedly that the chest is supposed to give up "legendary" loot which is not the case. It's free loot with the potential to be something good depending on what you already have so I don't get why some people are getting worked up over it.

i got a question, i got borderlands 2 on the ps3, but i cant change charters on the main menu? i was thinking that i must of saved over my exsiting files (Axton level 35). i started with another charters, but i can seem to load my old one?!? i looked at my saves on the ps3....ya his still there. "any help?"

This is entirely from memory, but I believe you press Triangle on the main menu, and when the window pops up, select "Choose Existing Character." If i'm wrong in my steps, let me know; I'll PM you and walk you through it.

I used it at level 32 before the final fight and all i got was two shields with 1000 capacity that reduced max health....
