I try to stay neutral in the console wars. The 360 has some good games. The PS3 does too. Both consoles have potential and will soon both have enough user base to warrant producing games for either console. It's a war of fans. I own both and enjoy both for now... Everyone is entitled to an opinion and I honestly just have opinions on games. I don't care much for which console they are on... Just if they are fun to play. I used to be an avid sony fanboy but seriously I have opened my eyes to some of the fun games on 360 now as well.

However this is an article about the disc formats. Whichever loses it will be pretty devastating for either side. With the way things are going now and with actions like these... it will probably get worse before it gets better.

I feel negative Blu stuff hurts hd dvd more and negative PS3 stuff hurts 360 perception more. Sony has a real brand selling 1.6 million game consoles just last week. It is a POWERHOUSE, BRICKHOUSE, whatever: it can't be hurt. This kind of stuff is just plain funny.

Involving Sony products and formats always turn ugly, you don't see BMW and Mercedes fans going at it like this. Because Sony tends to exagerate their positves, lie and manipulate the public, all while over promising and under delivering, this angers a lot of people. Add to that that Sony is VERY powerful and has a weird cult like following that never questions them and pushes their lies on other consumers, and you have the recipe for intense product wars. Well to be perfectly honest mostly anything sony is overpriced, TV's over priced and I've owned about two 32 inchers from them, one HD finally went with a samsung which to me was a cheap sony knock off but you cant beat them on lcd's. I mean better resolution better contrast ratio and cheaper, winning combination to me. Cameras, go with a canon, better color engine same price. Phones, who cant make a phone, I heard apple has one. Whats that sony phone name again the xj900 or something. Consoles, I like the PS3 I'm getting one next year when they get some good games. Where they really shine is in movies, like sony pictures. Blueray, HD-DVD same crap to me waiting for this war to be over and a major integration and I will start buying.

1) Blu-Ray is the best for America since their region gets movies before Europe and also supports Japanese releases.

2) Blu-Ray is the worst for Europe because they will get movies last and the other countries in Europe's region get them even later or in different languages.

Therefore, HD DVD is my pick (since it has no region locking) due to the fact I live in the UK. It's cheaper (since most stuff in UK is 2-3 times more expensive than US) and it has the same video and sound quality as Blu-Ray. If Blu-Ray never had region locking then I would be for Blu-Ray all the way.

How do we know that this was not "staged" by the Blu-Ray side to make HD-DVD look bad ? Because automatically the blame would go to them. There is no proof that anyone from the HD-DVD side did this & with how loud the Blu-Ray side has been you never know. So you idiots think & believe what you want. There is no proof as to who did this.
