Platinum games is also making the wonderful 101. Which is exclusive as well. Also game of the years weren't really prevalent until about the ps2 era. So you really can't count that as a way to track good games. Oh and one more thing, game of the years don't mean shit.

As you are a Sony fan, I thought sales didn't matter? Seeing as how PS3 has been bringing up the rear the entire gen and Vita doesn't look to be bucking that trend for the next gen.

Yea, GoW and MG are great games. However, no matter how great they are, you won't see me in a Sony channel whining and throwing a tantrum. You guys claim to be so hardcore, but every true, long-term, hardcore gamer has had moments like this (Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, Rare).

I just hope they do not deviate too much from what the first game was. While Sins of Punishment 2 and Xenoblade were good games, they aren't exactly the same type of game as Bayonetta, mostly looking at the combat department. As long as the combat is similar and the game has a better story, the game will do well.

This is one thing Nintendo excells at, devloping games and overlooking projects. People wonder why Rare seemed to have "lost their magic", its because Nintendo was overseeing their games and putting that magic in there. They really helped in games like The Last Story, Xenoblade, and stuff like Metroid Prime where Retro developed the game and they made sure certain aspects are up to their standards. I think it will benefit this game personally. Sometimes though i wish they would allow more dev freedom. I loved TLS to death but was sad to hear of the darker version Nintendo axed. The one about the gorl who cries blood set in a more modern world with guns and whatnot. Still it was amazing and i trust Nintendo over practically every other dev/publisher/console maker out there.
