Dust: An Elysian Tail Review (Proven Gamer)

Dust: An Elysian Tale is the last game in 2012’s Summer of Arcade, and it finishes it with a bang. Every year there is a game that stands out from the rest and Dust manages to take it this year. Despite being a game designed by one person, the games wonderful art design and crisp controls manage to raise it above the few minor complaints I had with the game.

Hollow Knight was a masterpiece. I cared less for the arena combat (Gods, not in the in-game arena) but everything was tight and the exploration was extremely enjoyable. Absolute masters of their craft in level design. I hope Silk Song gives the bees a second chance since their area was only a short subsection.
