PS3 for sure is sharper, dunno if the 360 has that blur effect on purpose or not though. Either way very little difference, everyone should still get it on whichever platform they prefer.

I wish Lens of Truth kept which consoles the images belonged to a secret. Then after about a week or so revealed which ones were Xbox or PS3.

Fanboys are always going to stick behind their version of the game regardless of which looks better. I think it would make comparing the games a bit more interesting.

Anyway, the Xbox version does look a bit softer. It doesn't necessarily make it worse if you prefer a softer edge. I'm sure tweaking your TV's sharpness setting could make the PS3 version look like the Xbox's. I personally prefer the sharper PS3 version.

I'm quite interested in seeing frame rates and load times.

I play with my sharpness 30/100 it makes games look better in my opinion (PS3)

These miniscule differences don't mean anything, and don't change the game from being really good.

in 1 week, in 1 month, and 1 year from now the game will still look the same. gameplay > graphics. after 3 weeks of playing no one is really going to be saying OMG THESE GRAPHICS ARE STILL AMAZING!!!! because it grow on you unless your playing games like uncharted 2+3 or PC games

Borderlands graphics were never amazing they're functional, it's always been about gameplay with Borderlands.

PS3 got this one... Dynamic lighting & sharper textures.. Who really sees these differences tho? i wont have my face kissing the TV for minor crap like that.. Still, looks like american devs are getting the hang of its power

In game looks near on identical. Pre rendered cutscenes look better on the ps3 as they're better or less compressed.

As my eyes see it, they're pretty equal. Good job to Gearbox when they were saying the ps3 version wouldnt be crappy :D

1st I could barely see a difference on screenshots.
2nd I will never see a difference while playing.
3rd Is Borderlands the PERFECT example that graphics do not matter for certain titles.

There are only a few gameplay screenshots (there are on the second page), other shots are from prerendered cutscene, which could (and totaly should) benefit PS3 with Blu-Ray disc with higher resolution/bigger bitrate. Gameply screenshots looks completely the same...

Lens of truth need to start measuring frame rate too.
Then these comparisons would be in a more controlled environment and actually mean alot more.

Would be nice if they didn't use an FMV to compare most of the screenshots, the 360 one is blurred because they'll have compressed it more for it to fit on the disk, even the PC version of the FMV looks the same, they need to do more actual in-game shots.
