Is Aliens: Colonial Marines Responsible for Prometheus?

At "the end of 2005 or early 2006," Pitchford told IGN, Gearbox co-founder and Vice President Brian Martel met with Alien creator Ridley Scott to discuss his game. "They talked about the Space Jockey, and they talked about the Derelict," Pitchford said. "And I have a very strong hunch that that discussion not only sparked the creative seed that led to us doing Aliens: Colonial Marines, but I have a very strong hunch that it sparked Ridley into the Prometheus film that we got."

Doubt it...I think there was always plans to do a film before Alien and explain what happened before Ripley and co found the eggs and the spacejockey.

Obviously it didn't really clear everything up in Prometheus, to be honest there was more questions then answers but thats only because they want to create a trilogy out of it.

Can't argue with any of those really, but I would add Resident Evil Operation Racoon City and Metal Gear Survive to that list. Both terrible games from good franchises.

Bulletstorm, I actually liked the gameplay but the atrocious writing and characters made me despise the game by the end of it.

I still play AvP on PS3 to this day. That game had fun multiplayer too.
