I know what you mean, there are multiple classes I want to try. I loved the Siren from the first game. For Borderlands 2, I wanna try the Commando, Siren, Mechromancer, and maybe the Assassin as well.

edit: Well I want the Commando for solo, because thats what I used for the first Borderlands. I am most interested in trying the Siren and Mechromancer. I have the Ultimate Loot Edition pre-ordered. Also, btw yea u should use your name lol.

Agreed. I only just got Borderlands when the PSN set it free with PS+ and I must say it's much better than I thought it would be. I assumed it would be another generic TPS but I am proud to say I was wrong.

Good on ya m8. I gave up on the game 3 times and sold it too untill someone explained the RPG bit of the game. Once I mastered that I thoroughly enjoyed it. Your right, it's no std FPS, which is exactly why it makes the game what it is...... Special. I'll see you online in 15 days.

Zer0 for me. I played the assassin class at PAX 2012 and it was a lot of fun. I think Gearbox should introduce new classes with all the DLC they have planned for it.

What a silly question. It's always funny when a small group speaks out against something most people like, especially when it's about a subject as inconsequential as this one.

Here's some gratuitous Call of Duty bashing for you... As many copies as CoD sells every year, if you look at how many people could buy it, CoD lovers are still a minority by a wide margin. That's not really bashing but some people will take it that way. It is gratuitous though. : )

When i thought that i was bored to death of lame first person shooters, borderlands comes around the corner and proves me wrong.

With great RPG elements, innovative gameplay and a gazillion guns Borderlands is a breath of fresh air in the First person Shooter genre.

If they didnt screw up the PS3 version i will probably get it at launch.

I love(d) the first Borderlands! (all except Mad Moxxi's Underdome as I didn't really have the friends to co-op on it)
the DLC was great, fresh, amazing and fun otherwise and I hope they keep up with the same quality :)
During the summer sale I picked up the original Borderlands again with all the DLC and am slowly putting time into it again.

I hope to put as many hours into Borderlands 2...actually let's double it! :p than I had put into the original Borderlands :)

haha it'd definitely be fun to play with more people. I did play with a friend when I owned it on 360 but it seems they just liked trying to get out of maps or something xP not that it ISNT fun but it does get boring.

Right now I own the original (all DLC from the sale as stated) and am getting Borderlands 2 on the pc though. I don't have a PS3 and I am not paying more money to just access the multiplayer portions of my games at this point in time on the xbox when people...just suck >.< =/

They did say the campaign this time around is twice as large as the original and all the DLC's are going to be bigger, badder, and longer.
I think you and I could easily put in twice as much time than we did on the first!

At least their season pass is only 30$ (half the price of what seems other companies price them)
But it depends on how much DLC they put out and if most of it is a must get :p

I'll be playing probably Zero mostly because I love swords...if not then it'll probably be Maya (to start with, of course and not exclusively :3 why limit yourself? :) )

Not really, the story is light but the background and lore info is pretty funny. Free on PS+ now. You should play it anyhow, its just a damn good game.

I've had Borderlands since it was on sale on new year's eve. They're weren't a whole lot of people on at the time. But there's tons on now thanks to psn+. It'll be a month or two before I think about the sequel. lol

You could buy it or just rent it from gamefly. (assuming they still stock it) If you belive it's like Cod or Battlefield then think again. Instead think of Portal 2's co op, add a medium amount rpg-ness, mix and vola... Borderlands!
