Kuma Wrote:Hi everyone, my name is Kuma and I used to own modded systems. I know, I am giving off that impression of being in an AA meeting confessing my sin. I will not lie to you; I did partake in owning illegally modified systems since PlayStation One. It started when PSone and Sega Saturn emerged introducing me to import titles, but I needed a special chip/disc to play such titles from Japan. We in the gaming community know that most imports are better and uncensored at times. I have to state for the record that I USED to have modded systems, but after the Modern Warfare 3 dropped and Microsoft sent out a firmware bomb to catch those with “Special” systems. The problem I had was the many that were caught was trying to rally for a class action lawsuit.
The famous comedy duo is the latest example of pop culture becoming one big grey blob
Certain to have some sort of reference to their online store for CBD/THC chews, which is advertising heavily online the last month or two.
The randomness of the multiplayer characters is one of reason I quit playing COD after briefly returning in 2022. We got Space Marines, rappers, tree monsters etc. all in a series called “ Modern Warfare”.
From Bootleg to Black Box, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 made a heartbreaking mistake by not remastering the bizarrely forgotten maps from its namesake.
Thanks to datamining, the Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 2 weapons, maps, new cosmetics and more have been revealed.
Very good read and shows a gamers internal struggles along with their true love of gaming and letting that win out over any diversions.
The only negative I see, is putting in Months of work only to have some hacker come in day one and ruin it for everybody.
Yea now reading some of this article it's about modding consoles not making mods for games.lol
i have used mods since the PS1 era too, my PS2 and Psp are mooded too but since this gen has all this internet things then modding is very limited but the PS3 and 360 are already modded so im maybe get into it too.
Kratos as I said before it is an expensive hobby to get into but there are many ways to turn a profit from it either tournaments or get into the biz some how. Just an idea.
100% agree with this A+ opinion article! BTW thank you for calling it "modding" not "hacking". Just because you chip mod or slap a modified battery in a handheld and run some software doesn't make you a hacker.
