Six great looking games you’ll never get to play

"Earlier today, a former Rare employee spoke to NotEnoughShaders about his time working for the company both before, and after, they were snatched away from Nintendo by Microsoft.

Although the article as a whole was interesting, I found the most fascinating part to be where Mr. Murphy discussed his work on the (now cancelled) Savannah, a Kinect game that boasted “some of the nicest looking in-game fur” he’d ever seen.

Even though the game itself sounded like nothing more than a glorified version of Kinect launch title Kinectimals, it was interesting to read about a project that will never see the light of day, despite the hard work poured into it by Murphy and the rest of this team.

It got me thinking about other cancelled games (of which there are many; thousands in fact) which led me to compile this list of the six best games that, despite looking incredible, you’ll never get to play."

I have to think that BF3 will get done sometime. Terrible shame what happened to it, especially considering how close it was.

Fuck Ms for canning Cry On also. Come to think of it MS has cancelled more awesome games this gen than Sony and Nin have released. So much lost potential. Lost Odyssey 2 and Alan Wake 2 on nextbox or no buy for me.

That Kameo game looked interesting. never played the first, but I liked the animations they were intending on using.

Obi Won did look bad ass as a bad guy, but that just feels weird to me.
