Hooked Gamers writes: "Criterion’s Steve Cuss is a giant. There, I said it. Those who have met him might be confused by that statement and for good reason. He’d be average sized if he were a woman really, and no, he does not possess the booming voice you would expect from a giant either. If anything, he has a bit of a squeaky voice but he commanded it like a general at this year’s Gamescom. Well into the second day of shouting instructions over the loudly roaring engines of Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Steve’s voice sounded as fresh as if he had just started. Respect."
After nearly three decades of NFS games, here's a list of the best Need For Speed titles that have ever been released in the past years, ranked by The Nerd Stash.
Need for Speed: Most Wanted debuted in 2005, with the Xbox 360 version being the first then next-generation title in the franchise.
This game was awesome! I remember reloading my save if I didn’t get the pink slip from my blacklist rival
Paul writes - "EA know a good thing when they see it, and for multiple years November was Need for Speed month. In a break from the usual routine, I'm going to be looking back at two games here, released in 2005 and 2010 respectively. The earlier game is Need for Speed: Most Wanted, which has the distinction of being one of the very best in the franchise. The second game comes from 2010, and is Need for Speed Hot Pursuit; which I'll talk about just as the Remastered version of the game has hit the stores."
I completely adore this game! In fact its probably my favorite racing game. I recently dusted off my xbox 360 to play Most Wanted 2005. Still a great game, though I do not remember there being such horrible performance. Like massive frame-pacing issues. screen tearing, latency. If any game ever truly needed to be remastered, it this one for sure!
This sounds more like Burnout then it does Most Wanted. I like Burnout, but its a different game then Most Wanted. Many people have been waiting on a true Most Wanted sequel for a long time and this sounds like its just gonna miss the mark. I haven't heard any mention of customizable cars, which was one of the best parts in the first game. Saving my junkman parts to build a beast of a car was awesome. Custom paint, rims, and decals are all necessary for a sequel. Are there going to be the 1 on 1 black list races so you can win new cars and climb the list to become the most wanted? To me these are just a couple of things that should be in a sequel that wears the badge of Most Wanted. If not, it should just be titled Need for Speed: Burnout!
