A report suggests Rockstar's development of GTA 5 could slip into FY2014, despite evidence to the contrary.
The GTA 5 Agent Trevor DLC episode could have been a real treat for fans on PlayStation and Xbox, before it was scrubbed sometime before 2017.
With the amount of money they generated, I just don’t understand the scrubbing of this. It would’ve been fantastic for fans.
I really want to know who drove the decision to focus on multiplayer was it Rockstar or take two.
Because when online started taking off many of the studio leads began having falling outs and leading including a founder
Grand Theft Auto V was released on PC on the 14th of April 2015. That means the game will be nine years old in four days, and it’s still among the most-played titles on Steam. With a 24-hour peak of 145K players, it’s as popular as Baldur’s Gate 3, Apex: Legends, and Destiny 2.
The freedom to explore large areas, approach objectives in multiple ways, and stumble across amusing distractions will always be an excellent format for video games, but some do it better than others. To celebrate the formula and parse the best from the best, have a look at the best open-world games of all time so far.
I don't know if that's true, but Rockstar really did show the trailer when the game wasnt even ready to be shown to the public. Its been 8 months and we only get 2 pics. Their publisher needed the boost because they lost hundreds of millions this year, and now all they've done is get us excited for a game that isnt coming out too soon (due to the lack of footage). They did this just to increase shares in the stock market. If they never showed those 2 ambiguos photos, then I would have still believed the illussion that GTA 5 was coming. But the fact that they felt compelled tofinally release something new--and 2 mere photo's at that--tells me that the game is far from presentable when were gven so little after 8 months.
Sick of publicity stunts. Most every AAA game we thought was coming out this year, is coming out in the middle of next year (like GOW, Last of us, Bioshock (same publishers who publish Rockstars games....hmmm), etc
No chance, if this is the case then we would see it on next gen consoles and by the look at the screenshots its this generation.
I hope so, a nice number like 5
Should be on next gen systems.
I wish some devs were announcing a new game and say "ok, it's out in 3 weeks" with full marketing forces unleashed in the lap of time.
Instead of this case, or the diablo 3's. I mean make an announcement and then nothing for years is ridiculous and boring for customers.
