War Z - A glimpse of the City

Yesterday, an image of the suburbs from zombie MMO The War Z was released to the masses. Today, we have another screenshot of an urban environment for you. Unlike the suburbs, however, this place was a lot busier before the zombies showed up.

Last I heard, the creator of DayZ was welcoming the competition.

DayZ creator "Rocket" is happy to see the competition and has nothing but positive outlook for WarZ. Rocket is a cool dude and too busy with DayZ to worry about WarZ. DayZ has given Rocket a BIG promotion at Bohemia Interactive.

DayZ is a HIT! It already has over 1 million players and has boosted sales of the 3 year old game Arma II by like 600%. The Stand alone version will have constant support and change every week just like the Mod. The constant addition of new features makes DayZ so enjoyable cause there is always new content arriving to change the game and the challenge.

WarZ has made a lot of promises but we will have to wait to see if they can deliver. I hope they can. DayZ sits on top of a very good game engine the Virtual Reality Engine 3 which has shown to be a BEAST with all the things going on in DayZ.

I hope WarZ has a good game engine to do all those things they want to do. I like the graphics so far but I want to be able to drive,fly,boat, enter buildings, vicinity chat, etc. just like DayZ all with NO LOADING screens.

Gaming just keeps getting better!!

I wouldn't be surprised if he was working with the ARMA developers to release DayZ as DLC for ARMA 3.

tbh id love 2 verions of a similar game. just like GTA and old saintsrow.
