2012's Most Anticipated Videogames

Media insight specialist Nielsen has been speaking to American game enthusiasts about which videogames they're most excited for this year.

Halo 4 tops the Xbox 360's list, ahead of Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Assassin’s Creed III and Resident Evil 6.

Black Ops 2 at Sony top...well Call Of Duty is most played and favourited game on PS3 so i doubt anyone will care or even play thier exclusives online ever.

Well to be fair. Not really many heavy hitters on Sony's side are coming out this year that can go head to head with the likes of say Uncharted, Gears, God of War, Halo, Gran Turismo, Forza, Killzone, or LittleBigPlanet. They're all mostly new IP's nobody has heard of like PS ALL Stars, Starhawk, Dust 514, Warrior's Lair, Journey etc. Most of Sony's hype is geared more towards 2013 with God of War Ascension, The Last of Us, Beyond: Two Souls, (Hopefully) Agent, and The Last Guardian and rumored Infamous 3 and Killzone 4.

this makes sense a little. I have seen teenager cheerleader type girls at game departments trying to convince their parents that Just Dance was the game all their friends were playing. And its always the Wii version they want.

My thoughts exactly. Then again, look at the Wii's 15 most anticipated titles. Hardly the most inspiring line-up, right?

Not exactly saying much given that I see only two games that are only on Wii and not PS3/X360 as well. I personally am looking forward to playing Epic Mickey 2 with the Move controller. My daughter wants to play Ice Age, and will bitch if its on Wii because it looks "ugly" as she puts it.
