I stand by Prince of Persia and Mortal Kombat both being great (for what they are) video game adaptations. I cannot, however, agree with the others on your list lol

Whoops, I missed the agree button, Sorry man! But I gave you positive bubbles!

I can't believe he put DoA on that list... *Shudders*

While I liked PoP's movie, I hated the ending, I hate when that happens in movies with time travel!

Um Lord, I wrote this so SHE put DOA on the list. And remember it is an opinion piece.

I am sorry but I can't stand when women have to point out their gender. We get it, you want attention. I am guessing you want equal treatment correct? Well stop making sure that every guy knows that you are a girl and maybe we can start there.

Back on topic I also only agree with Prince of Persia and Mortal Kombat. Thoroughly enjoyed Mortal Kombat back in the day.

Ahh snap.

House of the Dead...seriously. That is one of the worst films ever made. They actually use game footage in the movie rather than fx. Uwe Boll destroys anything he touches.

JD_Shadow4296d ago

I know. That was a really good movie with a rather spooky ending to it that even if you played the games, you might've not seen coming.

I didn't see nor play Silent Hill so I couldn't use that one.

i understand the authors frustration i'm not the best at parrying in games. not that i can't complete a game that requires it but it is a definite harder thing for me than other kinds of techniques in games. which might be the main reason it's so heavily added in games nowadays. want to make your game challenging without having to do a lot of work? just add a parry boss. (what i mean by parry boss is a boss you have to beat by parrying such that their attacks will kill you otherwise)

I always think it's fine as long as such games also have the roll/dodge panic button. But I understand the will to parry, it seems so cinematic in a fight when you pull it off.
