Who is that?it look like nariko from heavenly sword.

Dovahkiin4296d ago

From the article... It's a Skyrim character.

black9114296d ago (Edited 4296d ago )

Beyond Two Souls has already accomplished that.

As much as I love thier work, not even Quantic Dream could make a game the size of Skyrim look like that. Thats whats amazing - and desirable - about this mod.

cannon88004296d ago

I think he was only comparing the faces and how much more realistic the face from beyond two souls is.

Nimblest-Assassin4296d ago

Its even more amazing its a mod... When I build my new computer.... I'm going to dl this mod right away

Voxelman4295d ago

yoi could have used an actual screenshot you know, the character model looks as good
http://images.eurogamer.net...

Pity it runs at 22fps with screen tearing tho, and that is after they cut a quarter of the screen off for the cinematic look.

"Beyond Two Souls has already accomplished that. "

Yes in a hallway..
Ps3 has some great looking hallway games in 720p, 25-30 fps & blurred out mlaa. Bravo!

Skyrim is a big world!!
My gtx670 will probably run skyrim in 1920x1200..
You won't even get that next gen on consoles.

Also why is she wearing a plastic shirt?

BitbyDeath4295d ago

Why would you not get that nextgen on consoles?
Or do you mean you would not get Skyrim on nextgen consoles?

2pacalypsenow4295d ago (Edited 4295d ago )

I ran skyrim with 50+ mods (graphics) and it doesn't have constant 60fps @1080p with 2x AA on a EVGA gtx 670 OC FTW

cannon88004294d ago (Edited 4294d ago )

@shutUpAndTakeMyMoney

"also why is she wearing a plastic shirt?" Quantic Dream is known for making amazing looking human faces, not clothes. It takes a lot of processing power to make realistic-looking clothes, especially if it moves around according to the character's action.

"ps3 has some great looking hallway games in 720p"
come on man I thought that was a little too harsh. Beyond has some more open environments, just watch the entire demo.

Kamikaze1354295d ago

Sure. Let's see just how good that looks on a TV running at 720p most likely at 30fps in comparison to Skyrim running with this mod at 1080p @60fps.

2pacalypsenow4295d ago

the question is who will afford a pc to run it like this

ChrisW4295d ago

Don't know about you, but my 42" TV runs at 1360x768... And Skyrim via PC looks great!!!

I'm Replaying Skyrim (again), and So Should You

Replaying Skyrim after 13 years is a reminder of the progress made in western RPGs over the last decade, but also what's been lost.

anast13d ago

I tried, but it's a poorly made game that insults its customers.

lucian22913d ago

nah, only mods make it decent, and even then it's bad, and this is after i modded for at least 3 years

Nittdarko13d ago

Funnily enough, I'm about to play it for the first time in VR with 1000 mods to make the game playable, as is the Bethesda way

The 7 Best Western RPGs: Immersive Adventures

RPGs are often huge, sprawling endeavours. With limited playtime, we have to choose wisely, so here's the best western RPGs available today.

SimpleSlave13d ago

"I started playing games yesterday" the List... Meh!

How about a few RPGs that deserve some love instead?
1 - Alpha Protocol - Now on GOG
2 - else Heart.Break()
3 - Shadowrun Trilogy
4 - Wasteland 2
5 - UnderRail
6 - Tyranny
7 - Torment: Tides of Numenera

And for a bonus game that flew under the radar:
8 - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

DustMan13d ago

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave13d ago (Edited 13d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
