Well before The Last of Us and Uncharted, Naughty Dog made...a Mortal Kombat clone? With White Zombie?!
For some reason, I have fond memories of that game on 3DO.
I remember the Bootup sequences so well kicking up with White Zombies'sThunderkiss 65 and the Naughty dog flag logo.
The game was pure crap but it was good pure crap :)
And the zooming lava pit fatality was awesome.
PS. lol just watched the whole intro on the article and missed mentioning the Universal Interactive logo before still my memory was spot on lol.
The main reason I wanted a 3DO back in the 90's but still haven't got one

Virtual Boy, Sega Nomad, Ouya and the other troubled game systems that nobody bought.
How has this article missed out Sega's Dreamcast and Nintendo's Wii U, two consoles that were actually superb devices in their own right, but were seen as failed due to lacklustre sales at the time of release?
Wonder how long before Stadia appears on the list surprised the Ngage is not on that list
Talk about a blast to the past.......I remember trying the virtual boy at Toy R Us and it was cool but I did feel slightly disoriented afterwards......good article.
Nintendo Virtual Boy
Also notice the prices of 3 of the consoles on the list, very high
the first few years of xbox360, honestly, not trolling, i like my 360 enough
54% failure rate is a record, i went through 4 of them, according to many sources, in 2009 it was still 35% or more
i have a new model now and it seems fine
never paid a cent for the replacements either, never shipped it in, just went to bestbuy and told the employee to give me a new one.
These launch prices are ridiculous.
the funny thing is, i'd love to try the virtual boy at least once.
