Where's My Sequel?: Games I Want More Of

GotGame: We’re in a gaming age where sequels are the norm. So long as there’s at least mild interest, or the sales numbers from the original game to back it up, there’s no shortage of part 2s, 3s, and sometimes even more.

That’s all fine and dandy for hit franchises like Halo, Resident Evil, Super Mario Bros. and Resistance, but what about other solid games that haven’t seen a sequel? Unfortunately if games, good as they might be, don’t perform well at retail, the chance of seeing another related game is usually pretty slim. That is unless of course gamers speak up and demand them, though that doesn’t always work either.

I just want a sequel to Syphon Filter: The Omega Strain, a true Splinter Cell, and a PS3/360 release for Monster Hunter. I also want Japanese developers to stop outsourcing their games to the west. Keep the Japanese games with the Japanese and let the West design Western games.

Krimmson4317d ago

I thought I was the only one who wanted another Omega Strain... ;_;

Ranma14317d ago

I just want a real good FF from Square Enix.

You know, like how it used to be when Squaresoft made them.

Eternal Darkness was way ahead of its time especially for a Nintendo exclusive.

I would love to see a remake or sequel (multiplatform)

Ristul93d ago

5 Games To Play While Waiting For Dragon's Dogma II

Daman Shelley from NoobFeed writes - Dragon's Dogma is truly a one-of-a-kind game, and there really is no other game like it, but there are a few that come close. I can still hear the title screen music in my head after nearly 12 years. Loved every minute of it.

MrNinosan93d ago

I have no issues filling my time til DD2.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Infinite Wealth and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will probably me more than enough.
More terrified I won't be done in time.

Try not to burn yourself out before the game releases. This is going to be a long and immersive RPG like the first one.

The games in this article are all great and I believe the people who are excited for Dragons Dogma 2 probably already played most of those games.

For now, I recommend you prepare yourself for long play sessions if you will be picking up Dragons Dogma at launch.
