I bought a PlayStation Vita, and I liked it

Activision's own OneOfSwords, Dan Amrich: "I picked up a PlayStation Vita a few weeks ago, and in the meantime, Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified was announced for Vita at E3. That was always a “someday there will be a COD game for Vita” thing, but now it’s real. As a result, I’ve had a lot of people over the last few weeks ask me if I am happy with my Vita purchase. So, here are my thoughts."

can take the plunge and buy a Vita. THIS IS THE BEST HAND HELD. I got bored with the features of the PSP but this Vita is awesome. Never gets bored. Oh and Youtube is coming end of month too.

Who wouldn't like it? It's an amazing handheld.

@JoGam
I wouldn't say it's the best. It certainly has better tech but I prefer quantity, variety and quality of games and the 3DS is giving me that. However, Gravity Rush is an incredible game.

@Carl07
Is it necessary? It's a Vita article, not a 3DS article. Go away if you don't want to talk about Vita. Stay on topic.

@OT
I can't wait for COD, Playstation All Star and some other games. I hope Sony is developing a new Twisted Metal Portable.

I got mine 7 days ago (first handheld I've bought since the original GameBoy), and I love the hell out of the thing. My consoles have since been neglected while I enjoy the new romancing stage with the Vita. I already bought...

Gravity Rush
Uncharted
Little Deviants
Wipeout 2048
Hot Shots Golf
Stardust Delta
Escape Plan
Tales From Space

Really amazed at the quality of Gravity Daze and Uncharted... they are like a AAA console experience. The other games on my list are good as well... perfect for playing in short bursts and on the go.

Can't wait for Assassin's Creed, Ragnarok Odyssey, Little King, Killzone, LBP, Final Fantasy X HD, Sly Cooper, CoD: Declassified, Persona 4, Sine Mora, etc, etc, etc.

It puzzles me when people say Vita has no games, especially since it has most of the PSP catalog and Minis available, along with the already solid Vita catalog. Vita has many great games scheduled for release and we can certainly expect more great games like Gran Turismo and Patapon later in the life cycle of the device. I'd also like to see the Pixel-Junk catalog come to the Vita... they seem like perfect games for the handheld.

Finally someone who loves their VITA and is not repeating all the stupid junk people keep saying on this site. I have never heard such illogical BS since the PS3. Nothing but a bunch of dumb excuses why they won't buy a VITA.People brought the 3DS without any good games, with online missing, with less features then the VITA, before the price cut, before the extra joystick, with all the ports and sequels. But every excuse in the book for the VITA

(8) Hope Nintendo don't mind it. (8)

I own one and play it constantly at work. It's the BEST handheld. Ever.

Sony gave me a 3G Vita, and I liked it.

My favorite is always going to be Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. I know some people didn't like the addition of the run button. But, man that game is burned into my memory from childhood, lol.

Deception, MK2, MK9, MKX ..rest.

MK2 will always be the best in the series. Been playing a lot of MK1 lately though. Definitely enjoying it more than any other NRS era MK game.

1 and 2 were cultural phenomenon's.

I will always have a special place in my memory for MK 1 and 2. You had to be there during that era at the arcades. Martial arts tournament fighting movies were still popular, and MK 1 was exciting. Real life motion captured characters done well (unlike Pit Fighter). A cast of characters we all liked like Bruce Lee(Lui Kang), Van Damme(Johnny Cage), the Lightning god(Raiden) from Big Trouble in Little China, and Ninjas, gotta have Ninjas. Goro was menacing as hell. The MK arcade had some of the best speakers similar to Killer Instinct as you could hear the loud crisp and bassy sound that was distinctly different than other arcades. MK 2 improved greatly on the controls and fighting mechanics
