Mass Effect 3′s Extended Cut DLC will be here soon. The question is: should it be? We debate whether Bioware should have created the additional content.
Based on one narratively fitting ending in Mass Effect 3, Prothean squadmate Javik is highly unlikely to return in the next Mass Effect game.
He was one of my least favorite characters. I wish they would have done the Proths different.
This Canada Day, explore our homeland with the best video games that have adapted or reimagined the Great White North in digital form.
Mass Effect 3 is remade, rebuilt, and remastered thanks to a huge Mass Effect mod which changes almost everything in the Bioware RPG, as we await Mass Effect 4
Why the hell is this even up for debate and why would anyone be against free content? It seems more like the ones who go against the free content are the ones acting spoiled. You're getting stuff for free and yet still find a reason to complain. Where the hell was all these debates when Asura's Wrath released 'true ending' dlc? Where were the debates when Fallout 3 released DLC that changed the storyline ending and prolonged your gameplay experience? Fans wanted more - they gave us more. Why have so many people become so snobby over games, they're suppose to be fun and enjoyable. Some are art, sure, but I'd rather see them as fun entertainment rather than art if me viewing them as art means we have absolutely no say-so as fans as to what we want to enjoy. Supply and demand works wonders.
I only saw one of the endings and although it was pretty abrupt and didn't really explain what happened to any of the characters, I didn't think it was that bad.
My only problem was that my paragon wasn't high enough to do a certain paragon action at the end of the game. (obviously, I'm still dodging spoilers, but you guys know what I'm talking about).
@Segamon, no problem. I hate it when people spoil stuff.
Not this debate again...
I personally dont care. My problem with ME3 wasnt the ending. The game was just boring. And I loved ME2. I've been about 16 hours into ME3 for the last couple months. Prolly wont finish it.
Again ??
There is no debate , here the ending is a total insult to anyone who has played the previous games...it's bad
Either
-retcon this ending and explaing things !!
-explain things and fill the plot holes !!!
This debate is meaningless as the ending is not being changed. It's extended with more cutscenes and information, much like a director's cut in movies, something which certainly isn't something that has never happened before. Hell, Dragon Age: Origins extended its ending with 10 hours of gameplay in the form of Awakening.
