fake vita numbers make me :( lol

Moncole4331d ago

If the Vita was on top you would say its real.

Nutsack4331d ago

Goddamn, Sony needs to push that PSVita sales. It already seems like a dying console, so close after launch...

It sells less than half, almost 1/3 of the 3DS sales. Sony needs to drop the price like Nintendo did ASAP, to 189 to 199 bucks max, with a basic memcard included.

GribbleGrunger4331d ago (Edited 4331d ago )

what you and a lot of people seem to overlook is something very obvious. MORE people buy PS branded consoles than Xbox branded consoles, in America and Europe. MS have just one console on the market, while Sony have four: PS3/PSVita/PSP/PS2. it's as simple as that.

it's not about winning with one console for Sony, it's about making money from 2 consoles and 2 handhelds. the sooner people start thinking like a business and stop thinking like fanboys, the sooner people can stop trolling or worrying.

and remember, support for the PSP is still support for the PSVita in the long run. and trust me, PSP games look fantastic on the Vita and play a lot better because of the new controls. so stop worrying about how many Vitas have sold and just enjoy the games that are out there; of which there are plenty

Tachyon_Nova4330d ago

It may well be the case that for Sony the plan is to make money on both consoles, but there is no way they are making money off the Vita right now so they definitely need to turn it around quickly or just cut their loses and stick to the home console market.

PS Vita is very close to be irrelevant. Are there still people claiming smartphones did not hurt handhelds?

mushroomwig4331d ago

Smartphones have nothing to do with it, if that was the case then the 3DS would also be close to "irrelevant".

DiRtY4331d ago

3DS already had a $100 pricecut and guess what: Not because it did so well

Rrobba4331d ago

@ DiRtY

It had an $80 price cut - and that's because it was overpriced - it was the same price as a Vita, which is more advanced.

Look at 3DS sales now - it's outselling the DS.

TheGamingArt4331d ago

People, stop buying the frikken 3DS. What is wrong with people?

TheLyonKing4331d ago

It's a good gaming console, things like Zelda, mario, kid Icarus and soon to be kh 3:D will keep me going.

I love my vita as well I just want more games that I like.

Sharingan_no_Kakashi4331d ago

You people are worrying over nothing. The only thing killing vita sales is the lack of games. Do you really think sony doesn't have a wallet cringing amount of games being worked on for the vita? They're gonna come. And when they do the sales will pick up. They prolly shouldn't have released all their games at launch though.

Tachyon_Nova4330d ago

Yeah because the PSP was flooded with games wasn't it /s. I'd bet all my money the Vita fails. The market has changed, Sony hasn't.

Sky Climb Review - Duuro

Duuro says: "I think the idea behind the movement is cool, but on the other hand, the execution and clear limitation of the platform somewhat undermine the whole thing."
