CVG:While it might not be grabbing headlines in the same way Ubisoft, Square Enix and Epic's engines are, Hideo Kojima's Fox Engine is just as impressive, and according to the Metal Gear maestro it's built for current-generation hardware.
PES will finally transition from the Fox Engine to the Unreal Engine, and the game will allow for more realistic player models and animations, enhanced physics, photorealistic visuals, and much more.

That's great but for gods sake let's have a new commentary team with all new dialogue and more intelligent analysis. Great way to make a game feel stale out of the box when they're saying the exact same stuff they were five years ago.
Commentary isn't important in itself but it's an example of how they leave some things to stagnate while focusing on tiny improvements in animations.
What if Metal Gear Solid 3 (argubly the best in the series) gets remade in MGS V’s FOX Engine. YouTuber kur ko04 gives us an idea. While definitely not official, it certainly looks pretty beli…

I think it's good that more Japanese developers are creating engines
go kojima go
Looks amazing so far.
Hope its as good as they say it is. I usually find Japanese devs are good when it comes to interesting ideas, but are lazy when it comes to things like controls, fluidity & stupid story lines etc which generally ruins it for the majority of western players.
