Are you ready for this? It's ... good news about THQ's finances. The release of the massive new installment in the Saints Row series may just provide the push needed to bail THQ out of its financial crisis.
GF365: "We all love experimenting with character creation to make unique protagonists. These are the games with the best character creation systems."
Slightly disappointing game but Wo Long had a good creator. I was impressed by Oblivion back in what 05, 06? But the worst i have ever seen, clearly, Valheim.
Honestly the one I remember being easiest and flexible enough to make any character I imagined was the PS2 WWE games, and Saints Row 2. I did really enjoy Dragons dogmas character creation too
Lol CP 2077 is one of the easiest and less detailed editors around. It's all a mish-mash of presets.
GF365: "Whether it be style, speed or firepower, these rides are sure to satisfy. Here are our picks for the ten best vehicles in video games."
The Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak from the Gran Turismo series
Nissan Skyline from Need for Speed Underground
Motorcycle Steamroller from Dead Rising 3
And finally a car you never drive but saves your ass over and over : Honey Badger from COD MW2
I was thinking of Mad Max. That V8 felt really good to drive around in, especially with upgrades.
Alex & Mike talk Biomutant, a game from Experiment 101/THQ Nordiq you likely have not heard of. While the AAA side of the industry tends to homogenization and imitative, cinematic presentation, “AA” games remain creative and innovative in 2021. Drawing on inspirations as varied as Dark Souls, third person shooters & kung fu cinema, Biomutant is Ratchet & Clank on acid, developed by a team of 20 people.
Good news lets hope Darksiders 2 does as good. Just happy THQ IP's like darksiders, saints row and metro out of the greedy hands of EA hopefully.
I bought saints row 3, beat it too. Fun game. Best game THQ has made in about 10 years. Thq sucks.
So because gamers bought the DLC they were able to partially save THQ? See buying DLC does have its goodness.
This may be good for THQ, but if you go to the Saint's Row forums and read what the long-time SR fans have to say about this game and the way they handled DLC you'd see a lot of unhappy people, me included.
They are really handling this badly from a fan perspective. The latest DLC they released costs $2.99 I believe, and do you know what it's for? A few in-game vehicles that have simply been painted purple.
This is the kinda crap they may help financially, but will cause people to turn their backs on devs. The other dlc doesn't add anywhere near enough to the game for the price you pay(at least not for me).
As for the game itself, it isn't bad, but if you were a fan of the previous games, even just SR2, you'll feel it's a step backwards. It improved graphic-wise, but everything else is lacking.
I am STILL hoping that they get the fourth game right, I really am.
