Everything dropped. The PS3 seems to be scaling close the 360 though (360 only pushed 15k more) and the Vita's hanging smooth despite it's $250 price tag.

PSV's competition is doubling its sales tho. But then again Vita has pretty much only just been released so i guess we gotta wait a few years to see some real games come out for it.

MS must be happy with how they are each week here in America. Japan although exceptionally good at writing some great games is not something these days a good majority of players are interested in and so it's rather less of deal i would think 360 not peforming there for MS. Behind a little in Europe but overal they're in great shape. The world sales tend to look bad perhaps for MS but all considering, i'm sure they're happier than Sony is

The 360 outsold the ps3 worldwide in 2011.

And before you and the other Sony fanboys say "well the 360 was out a year before the ps3" just remember the Wii came out the same time the ps3 did and it destroyed the 360 in sales.

People buy what people think is best worth their hard earned money, and this gen Sonys ps3 just didn't cut it this gen.

Sony is on a decline company wise as a whole. This will be the 2nd time this gen that Sony has to restructure their company. They went from 1st to last place in the gaming market in just 1 gen. Their tv's went from 1st place to being one of the most over priced tv's allowing sharp, Samsung,anasonic and yes even LG to surpass Sonys Bravia.

Sony has stated their next console won't be leaps and bounds over the ps3 like how the ps3 was over the ps2 and looking at the latest reports and rumors of the ps4 specs, Sony wasn't kidding. They are not looking to sell a $600 console next gen but rather an affordable slightly more powerful console over the ps3. Ms will end up releasing the most powerful console for next gen which doesn't mean it will dominate the market since we have seen time and time again the least powerful console seems to be the most dominant console sales wise every generation.

Actually, VGChartz are pretty accurate for a world wide collective site that doesn't have access to every region in the world.

VGChartz updates their records whenever NPD, UK or MediaCrates release their information.

You say VGChartz are not "accurate" yet they are the closest "estimates" you will find anywhere. If you hate VGChartz so much, why don't you tell us were you get your accurate World Wide sales figures from? Oh wait let me guess, you don't care about sales right?
