I'll wait for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3XYZ that'll release next year

NukaCola4422d ago

Out of curiosity, how many fighters has Capcom released these past few years? Has it broke 15 yet?

Kalowest4422d ago

6(Ultimate)+8(3X)=14 new characters altogether.

StanSmith4422d ago

Damn! I've ran out of cookies! Oh well, at least Capcom has plenty of Milk for me!

closnyc4422d ago

my god, stop with the same stupid joke for every fighting game. Its getting old. And just so you know, if you knew anything about the game you would know its not the same game as each vesion is completely different due to balance changes. Yes, those balance changes are enough to completely change the game, just so you know, but you wouldnt cause youre probably a noob who just button mashes.

Brainwashed by Scamcom.

That is nothing that cannot be offered in a patch or via a CHEAP dlc. If you are buying every single one these, then Capcom are robbing you blind!

Veneno4422d ago

sorry but closnyc is right on this one. There is a huge overhaul in the fighting system from vanilla mvc3 to ultimate mvc3. Air X-factor being one major example. that example alone is a total game changer. But you obvioulsy don't play the games or you would know.

BUT at the end of the day, especially now with SFxTekken, Capcom is doing much more harm than good with these significant updates already being on the disc and us suckers paying extra just to unlock it. That's something no one should defend.

I'm a former hardcore Sf player, and paying for the same game soley based on rebalancing does not justify buying the same game all over again. You want rebalancing? How bout a free patch like with most games when devs realized that something is over or under powered?

jacksonmichael4422d ago

Oh no... I guess Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 is going back in my Dreamcast... Capcom, if you do this... I just... Gahhhh.

Guess who's back,
back again,
Scamcom's back,
tell your friends

vortis4422d ago

Tell your neighbors,
but lock your doors,
hide your kids
and hide your wife,
lest Scamcom takes them for a backdoor ride.

$15 dollars for 8 characters DLC. If this is true then it's a bargain compared to the price of Jill and Shuma Gorath which were £4 each last time I checked. AE also had 4 characters for $15 so 8 is good and people can hope to have Megaman again.

It will also bring up the roster to 56 I believe which is more than MVC2.

People will gloss over that though and start hating on Capcom again because it's got a new name but they only have themselves to blame.

Capcom's Christian Svensson puts all 'Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3X' rumors to rest

DSOGaming writes: "A couple of days ago, Neogaf’s user ‘cednym’ informed everyone about a supposedly new version of Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. According to cednym, his local GameStop shop had a listing for Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3X. That new version of UMVSC 3 would feature 8 new challengers and would be priced at $14.99 as a DLC and at $39.99 as a packaged disc version. Naturally, fans asked Capcom whether those rumors were true or not and Capcom’s Christian Svensson went ahead and answered to them."
