I do remember the collectible feathers though. It easily put me off from attempting the platinum.
While I consider trophies/achievements a way to increase the length of games you particularly enjoy, there are some that do it in pretty annoying ways. And I'm not enough of a trophy "enthusiast" to endure that kind of monotony.

Even with a walkthrough I still enjoyed it for some reason. Probably cos the map was so small.

Oh course I've played LiS.
I've got all the trophies (the looking at the cat one, rotating the panel for the scripture thing, shifting the screen to the corner trophy, etc.)
In fact, I played it twice, because I had the trophies on my old 60Gig PS3 (from launch) had got personally damaged & I had to buy a new one.
& I re-downloaded LiS for the trophies again.
I was fascinated by the art style.
Actually wished that they have made more games like it.
& my sister saw it once & thought that it was releasing 'evil spirits' in my house, like an digital Ouija board (she's religious).

So, yeah; played it.

Yeah but it's also known as a not-very-good game. Not many people buy games just for a easy platinum. Though I wouldn't say it was too easy - surviving those parts where you're shooting down flying bots while on the mounted gun of a truck was a pain in the ass.

No need to buy it--it takes a few hours! Just rent it for a day. But yeah, "pain in the ass" just about sums the whole game up. Every bug and glitch know to gaming has occurred to me at least once during the playthrough (including enemies spawning inside walls, when you need to kill every enemy to proceed--restart checkpoint).

AC2 is the easiest plat by far (for decent games, disregarding hannah montana and other bs), so it's not surprising at all. Got it with 18~20 hours of play on a 16 hour game.

You go get a game that has somewhat challenging trophies that are fun to collect, then you get to the bottom half and its online trophies. Turns out this game has dead online multiplayer so all those trophies are literally impossible to get....

The AC2 Platinum is one of my 14 too. It was the quickest platinum to get of any game also. had it in a couple days. Skyrim was the Longest, funny thing about that game was I never noticed the time go by though

GoW 1 & 2 don't require you to play on the hardest difficulty for Platinum and CoO & GoS on hard are tame compared to GoW 3's Titan. I have Platinumed them all too. In terms of campaign on Hard, 3 takes the cake no question about it but in term of Challenges, it's a tie between 3's stoned and GoS's no hit survival.

Though the game sucked i was supprised to see that Terminator: Salvation was not one of the top ones. All you had to do was beat the game, and that takes a whole whoping 4 hours.... Each chapter gave you a gold and beating the game gave you platinum!

It's just strange, since it requires so much work to get. The hardest platinum I've gotten is inFamous...and that was fairly easy. It would take me at least 100 hours to platinum a game like Assassin's Creed II. I don't know how people have that much time.

inFamous was probably the easiest and quickest Plat I ever got. 2 playthroughs in 2 sittings and done. I make fun of my friends that have played that game and haven't platinum'd it.

Feathers were a pain in the ass. I found so many on my own but then you hit a point where it's your last trophy to get the plat, you don't wanna play AC2 at all anymore and you gotta print out maps and figure out which feathers you already found on your own and which ones you managed to miss. The joy of Platinum trophies right there.
