I am growing tired of sex scenes and relationships in games....mostly because they serve ZERO purpose. Devs try and claim they add to the story but honestly... I have yet to see a game make a relationship worthwhile. And no, I don't mean get an achievement or trophy for shagging the whole crew. That is just pointless fluff and making the character show emotion can be done better with out the stupid sex scenes. So far any time we get sex in games its to either "shock" us or get the teeny boppers to giggle.

How about you create a system that if the main character can get a relationship with someone it actually gives him an in game bonus to health or other worthwhile perk? Give it an in game mechanic that is to the benefit of the character and then make the player need to maintain the good relationship or else the perk goes away when the relationship deteriorates?

I really just don't need to see an achievement for "romancing everyone" anymore...its tired, juvenile and something that adds nothing to games these days.

Because it's Mass Effect. Believe it or not, fans tend to care for their gaming franchises. So when something shows up saying [Gamename here] Gay, a surprising amount of people will probably click it to defend their game because they think the video in question is some kind of trolling attempt at making their franchise look bad. Why don't they ignore it is another question, but that's how it is. They didn't go "ooo gay, me wants!", well, maybe some of them did, but lets face facts here the majority of people watched it because its Mass Effect 3, only one of the most anticipated games of this year.

The thought process of the majority of people clicking it was probably something like "Mass Effect, sweet... wait, gay? Wtf? This better be some ignorant troll, man, no one calls Shepard gay!"

I haven't read the comments, or clicked the video because I rather ignore and deny its existence in my own little world (Shepard is not gay, Kaiden is dead. Everything and anything even suggested by the video is a falsehood and just trolling to make Shepard look bad). I can definitely see why a lot of gamers could be bothered by this, not because its gay but because they're making what was up-till-now a hetrosexual character suddenly turn gay. Well, okay its still because it's gay but. Different context though.

I agree with you Mrmagnumman357, when something is created for a specific purpose and design. Modifying or changing that very thing has dire consequences. There are many people today who live by, "If it feels good, do it". Thinking that they are abilgated a free pass to live as they want, with no consequences (for what is un-natural/sinful).
