SHM, capcom this what you get out of us again with another re-release of the same crap game after 6 months lmao!your company is going down hill for this stupid things!

haha suck this fail sales capcom!

You nailed it right there.

Anothing which pissed me off was the lack of content. Players no longer had their own stages and background music. The stage variations in sf4 were a joke and after seeing ehat MK9 delivered in terms of content and quality (no: of characters, stages, story mode, hidden characters, story mode, dynamic stages, tag matches), all in one game, Capcom fighting games became even more of a joke!

"Don't get me wrong, we didn't do badly, but I still think the game deserves more, as good as it is"

No you don't deserve more when you re-release the same title less than a year. It could of been DLC but Crapcom thought people would be sheep's. We already learned our lesson after you release different variants of Street Fighter 4.

Capcom is just experimenting but poorly executing it. Games get old after a few months and people leave, thus dlc doesn't sell good (unless you're COD and sell multi-million copies). so capcom is trying to breath life into these games by releasing iterations with dlc included, so it won't be of a waste and ensures they make money. Thing is, this tactic heavily relies on loyals/new comers buying into it, but as you see, most aren't.

Serves you right for releasing the 'finished' version of the game, a whole 9 months after releasing what now can only be described as the beta/demo/trial version of the game. Never pull that shit again.

Capcom should take a break of fighting games. Those are the one that are digging a big hole on the company. And concentrate more in Asura's Wrath, Dragon's Dogma and EMOSHITDMC. Also they could stop making MH on portables and do an fucking epic MH for PS3/360, people love MH, that'll bring $$ to the company.

killerhog4464d ago (Edited 4464d ago )

Yeah capcom, focus on games that bring you less cash outside of Japan, like the ones mention above.

Soplox4464d ago

Then how Dragon's Dogma[PS3] got in second place in Famitsu’s Most Wanted: Issue 1209? Fighting game fans are just a small fanbase(hardcore/tournament players included). The problem with fighting games is that is really difficult to sell it to other people more than pros cuz they can't play the game online/offline cuz don't know how to.

That's what they get, I bought the first mvc3 and was pretty pissed off when I found out that they were going to rerelease it with new characters . I sold it for 10 bucks...

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Lives Again Thanks to Mods

Capcom seriously dropped the ball with MvC Infinite. You can tell that it was heavily influenced by outside marketing that wanted to promote the characters in the MCU films only. The roster was lacking, the gameplay was slower than the previous game and there just wasn't a lot of the wackiness we come to expect.

Best Superhero Video Games Available Right Now

From Xfire: "A lot of video games are designed to make players feel like a superhero. However, very few actually feature superheroes or have players take on the role of a superhero. What makes this even worse is that there are even fewer superhero video games that can be considered good."
