'The update makes it all but impossible to find independent games'

Completely bogus lie..

I go to Games Marketplace just like I always have. The Indie games box is HUGE..

Click on it and Kotakus fave..new releases..popular..contest finalists are right there..

ANYONE on ANY website pretending it's 'impossible' to find Indies as compared to ANY dashboard is literally blind or does not own a 360..

This is what Hip Hop Gamer has passed on to gaming journalist.

Flame bait headline with no solid explanation or proof = hits.

I particularly like how the video attached to the article shows the opposite of your comment. The Indie box is HUGE (if you highlight the middle box under Games and use the right stick to scroll to Indie, with no instruction to do so). Convenient you left that out.

EVILDEAD3604518d ago

I particuliarly lke how I turned my Xbox on went to games and the was the HUGE indie box that said..wait for it..INDIE GAMES..

And with OMG OMG no instructions I clicked on it and found the indie games section. And the funny part is they made it easier to see the games with larger boxes advertising each games.

You wouldnt ACTUALLY know how easy it is because you don't own a 360..but you conveniently left that out.

Disagreeing means I don't have an Xbox?

XBL: SuMizzle - http://live.xbox.com/en-US/...

I guess that's the only way you can understand a 360 owner thinking the 360 and its services are not the end all be all. How's that crow taste?

The strengths of the new dash are ease of use, yet, you can't find content and are mobbed by ads. Deflect more, please, it's rather funny. Ignore the video, YOU found it so all should be able to.

Hard to find if your IQ is around room temp.....

BuffMordecai4518d ago

Its not that apparent if your not used to the dashboard. They threw everything under Game Type, there you can choose from your arcade, indie, original xbox, and Kinect.

I have a lot of Indie games and i'm always in and out of this channel. It's fair to say that how it is now is a bit fussy. Som of you here i would guess don't buy from Indie and so would slam such an argument. It could and should be easier is all and it had me fooled for a while- some people give up altogether if they can't find something and it's not in MS's best interest that they do this- unless they purposely want the channel to die

I also didn't know you could toggle wth the right stick while on the middle square

EKWB reportedly plagued with financial disarray many gaming pc's left without parts

EK Cooling allegedly has slipped itself into a hot soup of seemingly endless financial woes, where it has not paid its staff, suppliers, and contractors for many months as the company is facing liquidity problems and a surplus of inventory left unsold, stuck in the warehouse for a more extended period. Gamers Nexus investigated these claims made by former and current personnel, where he found trails of unpaid bills lasting as long as three to four months and unpaid raises that accumulated for almost a year.

EK Water Blocks has two entities—a Slovenian-based headquarters and a US-based subsidiary, EK Cooling Solutions. Steve narrated the series of events in detail, stating that the company was reportedly irresponsible and negligent regarding payment. Consequently, partners and employees are forced to share the burden of alleged mismanagement. It all begins with its extensive range of products, leading to a surplus of goods. EK has over 230 water blocks, 40 liquid cooling kits, 85 reservoirs, 40 pumps, 73 radiators, and 212 miscellaneous accessories.

Yes this is not about video games directly but indirectly this will impact the pc gaming/workstation space hard.

This company is massive one of two in the water cool space so if it goes poof then thousands out there have no spare parts or half built computers.

SO yeah i know not about a video game but think of it as amd leaving the pc space but this is ekwb that could be leaving water cooling in the pc space

Jayz2cents a supporter of there products also has issues

As someone that has built a watercooling rig. EK is big, but there's so many numerous watercooling part companies out there. EK's stuff isn't exactly amazing quality for the price compared to others either, it's just ok. Much like Corsair. The impact would be negligible long term. For perspective the majority of my parts are XSPC, at most I use EK for my gpu waterblocks and fittings. Both easily replaceable.

El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron - Coming Back for a New Generation

Originally launched in 2011, El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron is coming to Nintendo Switch, so It's time to look back at the original.

Still have my ps3 copies. Bought it at launch and another one when I found it cheap and in perfect condition about 10 years ago. I wouldn’t buy it on Switch but if they made a PS5 version I would. I still have one of my PS3 Fats hooked up so good to go either way.

Id play it again on the switch. I wished my 360 version was bc but this is still a good way to play.

Fallout 3's Reveal Led To Death Threats And Bethesda's First Security Guard

The artist behind Fallout 4’s Deathclaw reveals just how bad things got back when Bethesda took over the series

anast16h ago

People are stupid I get it. No one should feel unsafe,

But I think they need to talk about why they cut so many corners during the development process and why none of their games ever look current. And why they think all of this is okay while they charge full price.

LucasRuinedChildhood15h ago

As much as Bethesda deserve criticism, that's not really relevant to the reveal of Fallout 3 in 2007.

VenomUK13h ago

The default angle Kotaku always go for is to highlight the worst in gaming.

I would’ve focused on the creative.

gold_drake11h ago

there is no "but". the hell lol
you dont send death threats, period.
