Why Saints Row Is Better Than GTA

No that is not a typo: your sweet, holy grail, better than life itself Grand Theft Auto has actually been bested by one of it’s own clones. Before you work your fingers with the hate comments just consider how little credit we give a game if it’s even a tad bit similar to GTA. Rockstar’s baby is old enough to face some direct competition but how so if we don’t allow it? Side by side we will see that Saints Row’s latest is a much more entertaining experience than GTA.

I like Saints Row more than GTA. SR3 is a lot more wacky and fun than GTA SA

SR3 has a lot of creative missions. In GTA its usualy drive there and kill them. IN SR3 drive around fast with a tiger in the car

I'll take San Andreas over ANY SR game!

SA made me feel like i was really in living and breathing city and i spent countless hours just exploring and doing stuff while SR is just silly and once the silliness wears off you have nothing to fall back on.

Just my opinion but any GTA game is great with San Andreas being the greatest and SR3 is a real step up in the series.

Can't really compare them. one is over the top while the other is a bit more serious. To be honest, I think SR tries WAY to hard to be the next GTA

koh4520d ago

But didn't you technically just compare them by saying "one is over the top while the other is a bit more serious"?

GTA=SR1-2 coop it...this 3rd game they may went all wild out just to prove its not GTA clone but as far saying its better.....i dont know we all have to many opinions.....and when it comes the Saints row fanboys lol their a lil nuts

SR3 is fantastic but as per the records set, GTA series is way ahead of SR in terms of getting rave reviews or sales!

But it's not about that. When i play open world games, i play NOT just to do side missions and all...but also feel the world around me. GTA i believe does it marvelously!!

Anything is better than GTA.. Worst series ever created.. SR3 looks cool but thw first 2 I had no interest in.. GTA V should be canned so Rockstar can finish Agent..

Rauland4520d ago

yeah, i agree Rockstar should can something that is going to make over a billion dollars and pleases millions of its fans.

I'm sorry but GTA series > SR series

More interested in money than giving fans what they want. Such a shame

CrimsonWing693h ago

With the amount of money they generated, I just don’t understand the scrubbing of this. It would’ve been fantastic for fans.

I really want to know who drove the decision to focus on multiplayer was it Rockstar or take two.

Because when online started taking off many of the studio leads began having falling outs and leading including a founder

This makes me sad. Trevor was one of my favourite characters in gaming
