This is exactly what ruined Skyrim for me, being able to make an unstoppable character in like the first 5-6 hours of the game.

GamingManiac4525d ago

How did it ruin the game for you? Just don't do this stuff?

nveenio4525d ago

I agree with you. I would love to use a speech glitch in order to get better prices in shops, but I don't because it takes me out of the experience.

That's how I keep it real. If you treat it too much like a game, then the experience gets cheapened.

You can make the armour and weapons, but they won't be as power as in this video unless your combat and armour skills are very high. I mean you could have the best bow in the game, daedric legendary with fortify smithing, but if your archery is something like 20, then the damage will be around 40 max. My archery is 85, and that same bow does around 400 damage per shot. My point is, you can't be an unstoppable character in 5-6 hours; you need much longer than that, plus you need a lot of gold.

AJKanismajoris4525d ago

Yeah of course they won't be THAT powerful, but in the lower levels they will still be kickass and as you level up, so you will be able to make them more powerful.

@GamingManiac, it ruins the game knowing how easy it is to do, if i face a challenge, i can just go and do this then fly through everything in the game no problem, i cannot see fun in that.

SITH4525d ago

He is a level 51? Funny, I stop at 50 at least until new game content releases. Maybe the pc has a higher cap I guess.

theonlylolking4525d ago

I am a lvl 51(currently) and it take forever to level up.

sourav934525d ago

I'm level 55 atm and I play on the ps3. So the level cap is the same on all platform; level 80 i think. Or maybe it's lvl 70; different sources state different things.

Terarmzar4525d ago

The Level cap is 81. This is cool but i don't think i am going to do it.

NeoTribe4524d ago

Heard there is no cap, could be wrong. But i do know a guy whos lvl 81 so its more than 80.

camel_toad4525d ago (Edited 4525d ago )

Its kinda pointless going to the trouble of making armor that good because there's an invisible cap on armor rating around 580. Anything above that has no affect apparently. Found out after wasting the time to do it.

This game is painfully easy even with the difficulty turned all the way up. Don't see who finds it fun to play like this

I'm Replaying Skyrim (again), and So Should You

Replaying Skyrim after 13 years is a reminder of the progress made in western RPGs over the last decade, but also what's been lost.

anast13d ago

I tried, but it's a poorly made game that insults its customers.

lucian22913d ago

nah, only mods make it decent, and even then it's bad, and this is after i modded for at least 3 years

Nittdarko13d ago

Funnily enough, I'm about to play it for the first time in VR with 1000 mods to make the game playable, as is the Bethesda way

"I started playing games yesterday" the List... Meh!

How about a few RPGs that deserve some love instead?
1 - Alpha Protocol - Now on GOG
2 - else Heart.Break()
3 - Shadowrun Trilogy
4 - Wasteland 2
5 - UnderRail
6 - Tyranny
7 - Torment: Tides of Numenera

And for a bonus game that flew under the radar:
8 - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave13d ago (Edited 13d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
