PC Gamer: As good as Bethesda games are, they’re always a little bit better once they’re modded. Amazingly, despite the fact that the game has only been out for a few days, there are already over a hundred mods on Skyrim Nexus. We’ve rounded up the best of the first wave – they’re not game-changers, but some of these are worth taking a look at.
Replaying Skyrim after 13 years is a reminder of the progress made in western RPGs over the last decade, but also what's been lost.
RPGs are often huge, sprawling endeavours. With limited playtime, we have to choose wisely, so here's the best western RPGs available today.

Glad to see the modding community is so active already.
The no spider mod looks great i hate those things.
The modding kit hasn't even been released yet, has it? But I guess that doesn't stop the modders from modifying some game files.
I installed the improved night sky, tree textures, better faces, and enabled more than 2GB RAM. I also edited the .ini file. I can tell a huge difference. On a nice PC, at a high resolution, this is a beautiful game. It's only going to get better.
I wonder what Bethesda thinks of the work these people have done...
Anyone else unable to visit Skyrim Nexus? I guess their servers are likely to be severely overloaded at the moment :).
