Tribes Ascend - Free-to-Play But Full of Glorious Moments

How to tell a noob ass 10 year old from the rest? Ask which came first, Tribes or Halo. I've played Tribes when Bungie was still only known for the Myth series and I bet you don't even know that game either.

This is the first decently looking Tribes game that looks seriously promising since the original. I'm not too sure about this F2P model they have. I really hope it's not a Pay2win scenario.
