Is the new game worth of a purchase or do the co-op mechanics let it down?

This game looked fun, I don't what's with the mediocre review scores.

ppl want the same old stuff, they can't handle a little change for fun.

You'll see them comparing this to the previous games when this isn't meant to be like the previous games.

What Insomniac wants is for the gamers to have fun by playing as their favorite characters with up to 4 players at once.

Agreed, people are expecting another game like A crack In Time when in reality it was never meant to be that in the first place.

Neither do i, although i suspect that some of those people giving it bad Reviews are those who have only played the Single-Player Portion of the game and gone into the Co-op section which is where the fun really starts.

If you want more Ratchet and Clank then i definitely suggest you get it because it is a brilliant game.

looks like the reviews are all over the place from down right poor to almost in the great category. my theory, some reviews are based on what the game does not do(weak single player)and some review the game on what it does. great for friends getting together online for a bunch of co op fun.

The point of a review is to cover all the points of a game but i can't help wondering if those reviwers giving it bad scores have ever actually played the Co-Op Portion of the game (The greatest portion of it)
