I am tired of people saying that. That belittle's the game. How about greatest super hero/ comic book character game. Or, even better yet;people should be saying one of the best action/adventure games ever. It has everything you ever wanted in a great action/adventure game. Great action, check, great stealth mechanics, check , great puzzle elements, check, great story check, great characters, check , high replay value, check, etc. I could go on. But you all get the point. This game can give Uncharted 3 a run for its money. GOTY contender, no doubt.

I think maybe you misunderstood the article or did not read it. The writer is recapping the best batman games (plural) that were made. If you have any gripe at all, it should be with the writer's conspicuous omission of Arkham City itself.

Also, I think calling it the best superhero game also belittles the game by restricting its greatness only to superhero games

What BushLitter said.

For the record, the SNES and Megadrive versions of Batman were epic. :D

well .. as a ps3/pc owner
i get to play both batman and uncharted
so in both ways i'm super happy
bec both games are
on my top 5 of best games this gen
along with God of war and MGS4 and infamous 2

BushLitter4572d ago

Dude, you don't need a PC to play Arkham City (although it will possibly be the best version)

In fact in your case, you need only a PS3 for your top 5 games ;)

elshadi4572d ago

i know .. i was just trying to say how i feel about both games

It's not about Arkham City, it's a run down of the best classic Batman games already out.

Where's Batman: begins? I loved that game and it had great stealth too

Inception4571d ago

For me (exception for Arkham City cause i'm not buy & play it yet):

1. Arkham Asylum
2. The Adventures of Batman & Robin (Genesis)
3. Batman (NES)
4. Batman Begins
5. Lego Batman

I'm sure R* knows the Nintendo Switch install base and probably dont really care to port over more R* games to the Nintendo Switch tho i gotta say playing GTA4 & RDR1 on the go on the Nintendo Switch would be dope

Knightofelemia651d ago

I would buy Lollipop Chainsaw, Alice Madness Returns, Enslaved, Splatter House, Brutal Legends, Dante's Inferno, and Dead Space for sure if they were ported to the Switch.

Mobis-New-Nest651d ago

Deus Ex Human Revolution would be a great title to The Holy Grail of All Consoles aka The Nintendo Switch*. Also Haze Remastered, Grand Theft Auto 4 and 5 Remastered, Silent Hill HD Collection, Max Payne 3 Remastered, Call of Duty World At War Remastered, The Orange Box Remastered, Halo Master Chief Collection, Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 Remastered, Metal Gear Solid 4 Remastered, Afro Samurai Remastered, Demons Souls Remastered, Xmen Destiny Remastered, Jack and Daxter Collection, Def Jam Icon Remake, Folklore Remastered, Spiderman Edge of Time Remastered, Persona 5 remastered, the list goes on. (*Best Selling Console of All Time)

Can we just get a Bully 2? 😒

Seriously? Isn't it time Nintendo make a Switch successor? I mean they have the sales and money.
