Do You Want A New Jade Empire Or More Mass Effect?

After the release of Mass Effect 3, would you rather see BioWare start a new adventure set in the Mass Effect universe? Or resurrect its Eastern-inspired RPG?

Exactly, it would be great for Bioware to give the series a rest after ME3, and what better way to do it than to make a Jade 2. Although, that is if they dont decide to make a Dragon Age 3, which I'm sure they will do.

That's the beauty of TOR though, you can play through the epic story with a.i. companions without even bothering with other players online! I've ordered the standard edition, hoping the early access comes next month...

I agree. Just space them out a little so they dont have 1 game a year, unless they open a second studio or something.

But I really would love to see another Jade Empire, or even a HD remake. Same goes with Knights of the Old Repuclic. Im a big Star Wars fan, and I think thats probably the best game ever set in the universe.

I'd kill for a Jade Empire that took longer than 8 hours to complete 100%. Or a Jade Empire with more than 2 towns.

Honestly, I want to love JE, I really do... but the game was so far from finished it wasn't even funny. It easily had the richest setting of any Bioware game this side of licensed Forgotten Realms stuff, and a lot more potential than any other game Bioware has released in a very long time. It's a damned shame it wasn't better than it was; longer than it was.

And that mythology: awesome.

I'd love to see more Jade Empire stuff. Mass Effect? I don't care. See, I'm a science-fiction fan. I've read the classic books and seen the classic shows: I can recognize the ME setting for what it is--horridly derivative and uninspired. It, therefore, doesn't really appeal to me in the slightest.

Both should be in development. Bioware is a big studio with three games/universes developed simuataneously - Mass Effect, Dragon Age and Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic. Am sure Jade Empire development can co-exist in the production of the Mass Effect and Dragon Age universes since the Star Wars team will probably be looking in another project; Star Wars franchise belongs to Lucas Arts hence the team exploring another venture say JE.

Yes, 2 to 3 years, but not the whole team. A small percentage of the team will be maintaining and adding content to the Star Wars MMO. Am sure the Star Wars team is in pre-production/development of a different project as the Star Wars MMO game is nearing completion.

Jade Empire would open a new level to the current generation systems for Bioware. ME 1,2 & 3 are great (and going to be great ME3) but I would like to see Jade Empire's world come to the next generation system.

I have played the Xbox game Jade Empire on my Xbox 360 but want to see some love for next generation graphics.

To the reference of KOTOR coming to this generation systems, this would be nice but I would like to see a complete set with the addition of a 3rd title. Any way to fit that all into a large game would be sweet! Or even 3 separate titles with maybe a re-imagining of the first 2 games and then the third title?

I want to see Mass Effect take some of the quality characters and spin off some interesting story lines in the universe with maybe new titles. Kind of like they did with Halo: Reach being a spin off title to the story line, except use current characters instead a prequel. Specifically would like to see a spin off for Jack and Kasumi Goto, both would have some unique elements that could bring a different style to the series as complete separate titles in the same universe.

I'd like to see them do HD remasters of KOTOR and Jade Empire while they're working on Jade 2 but we all know more Dragon Age and ME will be shoved down our throats.
