Devil May Cry 1, 2, And 3 Rated By ESRB For The PS3 And Xbox 360

G4tv: The Devil May Cry HD Collection has been rumored since this past June when a Spanish retailer posted an ad. Since then no new details have been released, until today. Capcom hasn't confirmed anything but the ESRB has publicly re-categorized Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2 and Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening. "Change Value of Platforms from "PlayStation 2" to "PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360." Meaning, these games are no longer just for the PS2.

Nobody has seen the movie Robocop? Obviously the games are worth more than 1 dollar. 1 and 3 for sure. I'm not too sure about 2. Never played it myself but there's a general stigma surrounding it.

I don't understand why Capcom just sits on the franchises that people want to see like they mean nothing. Capcom really suck this gen. This move, coupled with Asura's Wrath and Dragon's Dogma is the only thing I can say they've done right this gen. BUT, these 3 things haven't happened yet so, who knows?

OT: I'll buy it, never played 1-3, but I played 4, it was very confusing cuz I knew no one in the game, so I never finished it. I might when I get this.

I have the Sly, Tomb Raider and Prince of Persia collectons. The Ico/Shadow collection is in my top 3 titles for this Fall after Gears and Uncharted 3. However if a game goes multiplatform I much prefer the 360 controller and ability to install to the hard drive.

*Silent Hill 2/3 was my most wanted collection this generation until I heard that horrible voice acting.

Personally, I didn't care much for DMC3. I'll have to give it another shot, of course. But DMC1 is in my top 10 PS2 games of all time. I HAVE to play it in HD.

Why waste time Hd porting DMC2? Everyone who has played knows it's horrible within the first hour of playing. This is coming from someone who finished it. I play the games I make the mistake of buying no matter how horrible they are. It's far too easy, the game is paced too slowly, and the story is told in a very underwhelming boring way. Furthermore, it is unnecessary because the story isn't directly linked to any DMC game so far. What I mean is there is no continuity. The story in order is DMC3,a very short time, DMC, another pretty small gap(enough to fit one of two more games in), DMC4, then a pretty significant gap(enough for a few more trilogies), then DMC2. It'd be a waste of resources to include it. It'd be better just to patch DMC4 with trophies, slightly compress it, and include that instead.

I've played DMC2,1,& 4 but I haven't beat any of them. I regret trading in DMC4, but I'll get it again. I haven't played DMC3 yet so the HD Colletion is good news for me, and DMC3 looks pretty awsome compared to the other ones. And quit trolling DMC2 because it wasn't that bad. I think I'll like DMC3 the best, but DMC4 was my least favorite, but not because of playing as Nero because I thought he was pretty cool(but not as cool as Dante of course), but the story itself wasn't as deep, and intense as the storylines in the other DMC games. Trish, Lady, and Lucia from DMC2 are pretty hot right? I'd choose Lady! Righteous!
