For some odd reason, I think it's unfair to judge game companies. Rather than having to patch up your game, find the people behind it and drop a lawsuit. Surely, the webpages that host these cheats can be closed if Activision drops enough investment into it. I am not saying a tremendous amount, but put a lawyer on it and it will slowly fade out.

Naughty Dog still hasn't fixed the treasure and gemometry glitches in Uncharted 2 multiplayer. IW deserves some slack, though. Activision puts them into a rigid schedule, so it's harder to attend released games.

@MidnytRain got to agree with you on Naughty Dog not fixing the glithches. I noticed that instead of fixing it they kinda made it worse. It's still fun but I think it was more enjoyable when the game first came out. Hope that doesn't happen in U3's multiplayer.

People will find a reason to complain about Call Of Duty or Activision no matter what they do. I played COD4 for years with no problems, I took my team to the Gamebattles playoffs and the top 32. It's only been recently that I've seen any hacked lobby's. With all their resources focused on Modern Warfare 3, you can see why it'd be hard to keep updates coming for a game that is 4 years old.

Smaller companies with less resources have done a better job with updates. It's one of the highest grossing games out there, i'm sure they have the funds to hire a couple more people to work on this stuff.

Anyhow, it gives me hope that they'll support MW3 better than the last two MW's.

Yeah, it needs fixing. I tried playing at a mates on 360 and then on my PS3 when I got home for some nostalgic shooting but it was a joke both times-I imagine it's as bad on PC. the number of hacks made it unplayable and something needs doing-and in MW2 as well.

Tried MW2 with the missus the other night(PS3) and the number of people using God cheats and hacks to their weapons was amazing. Half the time I couldn't tell you WHAT they were firing at me with! One match on Quarry looked like the entire opposing team could effin fly! We only managed one staright looking and feeling game on Favela and even then it lagged like a bitch despite everyone having decent looking connections. go figure-but there's a lot top be sorted out and i doubt they have either the time or the inclination to do a great deal with the next about to drop. Why aren't Treyacrh fixing WaW, though? THAT is just as bad as these.

for some reason i just really suck at mw2... i can play cod4, w@w, and black ops and usually finish top 3, but i get absolutely destroyed in mw2... and i don't think it's the glitching lol
