S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Could Possibly Come To PS3

I'm a huge STALKER fan and the Devs have already said several times that for STALKER 2 the PC is the lead platform, will retain the game play that has made the series famous, they are using input from the STALKER community to make improvements, and the PC version will make use of DX11 and have superior visuals over the consoles.

they already mentioned porting STALKER 2 down to the consoles but no word if they have a PS3 team in place to handle that.

True. I just really hope that they don't "consolize" S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2... (I'm primarily a console gamer, so I can say this.)

I'd rather have S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 stay exclusive to PC than have a dumbed down version on PS3.

I want a clean PC port, nothing more. No changes on behalf of console players. Keep it just like it is.

A lot of PC only titles are now console games. Actually the majority are with a few exceptions.

Anyway Stalker is a great serie, i have played all the episodes on PC.

OK i definitely play STALKER a lot.

Only Shadow of Chernobyl had a lot of bugs but was fine after the first patch. So the bug jokes are past stale.

I play STALKER on the Veteran setting and yes i have trained myself to use quick save a lot because one time i explored for a few hours and found a whole bunch of cool stuff then wound up getting killed trying to rob a Duty soldier for his custom gun. Long story short i wasn't doing anything with the main mission so no auto save took place and after i got killed i lost all that cools stuff. So yeh if you play STALKER i suggest quick save every 10 minutes.

STALKER is an incredible series and i can't wait for STALKER 2.....Get out of here STALKER!

ClearSky was a bug-fest on launch as well.

CoP is about the only one that was functional on release.

Still, bugs are part of Stalker's charm. They add a little flavour of mystery... well, except for the game-breaking ones which just plain suck.
When you're soaked in the atmosphere, something like this can really scare you.

I'll be getting it for my new PC which I will begin constructing tomorrow. Happy times. I think it would be good if it came to consoles as well. Many people should play it.

Hope not. The few PC only games need to stay that way, i'm sick them "streamlining" to make it more button friendly. Not to mention almost all the stalker games have been buggy on release, they sure as hell don't need to split their time testing each version. Do consoles really need another FPS anyways, just leave it on pc and make it something truly great.

STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl is definitely better than Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat, but I don't think it's safe to say what's better than a game we hardly know anything about yet.

wow it would really suck if they did this. Expect last gen graphics even if PC is the lead version.
