Dengeki PlayStation reveals Sony Computer Entertainment's designs for the ICO + Shadow of the Colossus boxset and the individual covers.
All editions will release on September 22, 2011 in Japan.
The idividual games are priced at ¥3,980.
The boxset is priced at ¥6,980.
Unlike most other territories, the remakes of the Team ICO classics are individual releases in the Japanese market. However, Sony will be offering the ICO/Wander to Kyozo Limited Box ("Wander to Kyozo" is the Japanese name for Shadow). This set includes both titles, a special box, a special 100 page booklet from magazine publisher BRUTUS, and dynamic custom themes for both titles.
YouTube’s ‘reznoire’ has shared three new videos, showing three PS3 exclusive games running on the best Playstation 3 emulator, RPCS3. These three games are The Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection, Heavenly Sword and Journey.
Technically Shadow of the Colossus is a PS2 remaster on PS3 but it is interesting seeing the progress made with emulation.
