LavaGlow PS3 Controller - Cheaper than the Real Thing

Here is a cool little piece of budget gaming tech. These LavaGlow controllers actually retail for less than regular PS3 controllers. What makes them even better is the fact that they glow. If you like playing games at night with the lights out, you won't have to go hunting for your controls. Nobody has any idea how well these things handle, but if cheap PS2 controllers are anything to go by, you will probably be sacrificing a little bit of smoothness. That is OK in most games and perfectly acceptable for the controller that your buddy or your little brother gets to use.

They take 3 AAAs, come in red or blue, and cost $34.99

Nice idea. But it would be better if they rumbled.

I'm sure that there will be a rumble version once they get a Sony-branded controller to reverse engineer.

They take batteries. Thats the best thing about the PS3 controllers is that you never have to buy new batteries.

Will the battery charge be correct when checking it on PS?

Lightning Mr Bubbles6028d ago

Just look at it. I never buy third party controllers, this should cost like 2 dollars.

Bonsai12146028d ago

yeah.. it even says in the description, "no one knows how it'll handle" which isn't a good sign.

and it better be cheaper than the real thing. sixaxis retail at 50 bucks a pop..

Twizlex6028d ago

It is cheaper than the real thing. It says that right in the title. How you missed that is beyond me. If you actually read it, it says it costs $34.99.

Bonsai12146028d ago

i knew it was cheaper. i was affirming the statement by saying it better have been, because if it were more expensive, no one would buy it.

games4fun6028d ago

sixaxis i'm wondering about it because i bought a logitech i had to take it back because i wanted my friend to play warhawk but it didnt have sixaxis control so i had to take it back

its annoying when they say it is a ps3 controller but it has no sixaxis

Looking Back At 2008, An Unbelievably Incredible Year Of Video Game Releases

Huzaifa from eXputer: "2008 was home to the likes of Call of Duty: World at War, Dead Space, GTA 4, Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead, and many other hits, which is outright remarkable."

I don’t think anything can compare to 2023

1998 - the best year in gaming! Metal gear solid, crash bandicoot 3, medievil, half life, ocarina of time, thief, tenchu, resident evil 2, Spyro, tomb raider 3, oddworld abes exodus, banjo kazooie.

It was a different breed of a gaming era. You’ll never understand what it was like back then. The aura of gaming, it was different!

6 Fun Games Where You Actually Play As The Bad Guy

While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.

Profchaos5h ago

Pretty much all of these games listed are based around a morality system you don't have to be bad and you don't have to be good.

It seems to have left out some real amazing games like red dead redemption 1/2,ass effect and true crime la/ny

Armored Core VI?

Ok, I'm really missing something here. Just beat chapter 3 earlier this evening, unlocked A-rank Arena fights. I'm not seeing or sensing any branching paths or morality system and I've done every side mission and arena fight available to me up to that fight.

Is something big coming soon to branch the story?

No mention of Grand Theft Auto? Saints Row (original trilogy), Manhunt? Also The Suffering (depending on the ending you get).
