Gamer's Corner writes; "Eventually, Sony's Playstation Network will resume. If we're lucky we'll see that day sometime in the next few weeks. It's already old news that Sony will be offering it's loyal customers a free selection of two games from a pool of five. To date, Sony have not announced what those games will be. Clearly they'll be existing downloadable titles, we think they'll come from a mixture of genres and price points. To keep everyone happy we're expecting a full priced retail game, a mid priced pairing and a couple of golden oldies that satisfy the 'cheap and cheerful' moniker. We're not expecting any minis in the bunch, that would just be an insult after all of these weeks."
From the cosmos to crash-landing back on good old planet Earth, come read through the best sci-fi-nastically games on the PS3
Starhawk over Warhawk?...... Dude, NO ONE should listen to you.
Odd choices for "best" more like you settled as these being the "best" that available to you at the time, cause a lot of these blow or were average to poor performers that ended up in bargain bin.
Missing too many great sci-fi titles here. The Void, The Resistance Series, Killzone 2 and 3, Enslaved, man.. there were so many, this is redicu-list.
Glad to see Resonance of Fate. Enslaved was pretty good too. I’m sure there are others nobody has listed but I’m too tired to try and think of anything
Final Fantasy 7 has come back under the spotlight thanks to the release of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, but is it worth replaying the original?
Very much so. Graphically it's dated but the story and the gameplay haven't aged a day. It's still one of my all time favourite RPGs and for me is better than Remake in some ways.
Love single player RPGs? Here at HardcoreDroid we've complied a list of the top ten offline Android RPGs as of 2020.
I highly doubt it will be anything already released on PS+...
just sayin
Will Starhawk be free?
How about they give everyone Infamous just in time for Infamous 2 to be released. Infamous is $30 on PSN store.
To be honest I think it would be quite a good strategic move for Sony to have a couple of free games that are updated every now and then, and have tournaments and HOME integration.
And I don't mean because of the PSN thing.... I mean as a selling point in general, a community builder, and a bridge to HOME.
Like for example.... Warhawk and Wipeout, imagine every one on PSN having access to them, and having a decent Clan system and Tournament structure in place...
And the various other things you could build around that to help forge more of an online community that had some sort of focal point around an area in HOME (but that wasn't necessary).
Obviously it would have to be set up in such a way that it wasn't going to detract from game sales as that would be counter-productive... but something that was alot of fun, brought people together in some sense, and that people could dip in and out of when they felt like it.
A game such as Little Big Planet has all the ingredients for something like that too...
Infamous is a safe bet, why else would Best Buy sell it for only $10 now anyways.
