Gameolosophy: There is a lot of rumours being thrown around about the Wii, and some people I know who work close with Nintendo have been dropping me some rumours. Even though I trust these people since they’ve been right on many past rumors (a 3D DS, Donkey Kong Country Returns, etc), please understand everything below is a rumour and should be taken with a grain of salt.
Former Rockstar Games Technical Director Obbe Vermeij has finally revealed why some planes would randomly crash in GTA: San Andreas.
This fly by feature was on the cutting room floor due to the random plane crashes and it's one of those things I'm so thankful made it into the final version as these random fly by and crashes make the world seem more alive on the extremely limited PS2 hardware you needed everything you could possibly get in a open world to convey that feeling.
And accross hundreds of hours of gameplay I probably died around 3 times as a result of these fly by failures but I loved every time it happened
It made the world feel more human, and honestly kinda insane that even today with all these open world games, almost no one can capture that like R* even when compared to their ps2 games

Max Payne PS5 remakes are coming for the first two games from Remedy Entertainment, and we hope this Rockstar Games easter egg is kept in.
Will never forget these games on the PS2 and Xbox. Max Payne 3 was awesome, more so the arcade mode.
Can’t wait to replay these games with updated graphics.

Indeed - and if it is another shameless cash grab, they shouldn't bother. It's an insult to these classic games.

I could make a blog stating that a new Metroid, Smash Bros and SMG 3 game is in the works for Wii2 from highly, super duper reliable sources.
Well it's good to see them interested in a hardcore game developer like RS.
Now I hope Nintendo come up with a good name for this console, you immediately knew what direction they were going when they changed Revolution to Wii...
I don't believe Rockstar would ever work with Nintendo, from what I have heard they have very different development philosophies.
