Tales of Vesperia Hits Xbox 360 Games on Demand

Namco Bandai Games Europe today announced the launch of Tales of Vesperia on Xbox LIVE Games On Demand for Xbox 360, the first time ever a game in the revered Tales role-playing series has been available on the service in Europe. Since its European launch on Xbox 360 in summer 2009, Tales of Vesperia has garnered widespread critical and fan acclaim.

If I'm not mistaken, this is the 4th related Tales English game news from Bandai Namco Games ever since the first (the announcement of "Graces f" in English).

Bandai Namco Games sure took their time for divulging further "Graces f" / other Tales games news......... : /

This game is impossible to find in retail here in Europe. So this is good news, I still prefer to have a hard copy but I guess this is a good alternative.

I gave my fiance a sealed collectors edition of this game when it released. got it for free. she never even opened it, not cause shes a collector but beccause shes to lazy to unhook her ps3 to play her 360 lol

much better. You sony kids are so lucky. I had such a horrible time playing the game in my 360 more than a year before it was ported. I wish I was lucky enough like all you sony fanboys who have to wait for their ports and play it then . I know it would have been much more fun to wait for so long.

This is definitely the rarest 360 game here in Europe. It goes for a small fortune on Ebay & Amazon. A lot of euro gamers will be happy about this.

I'm not sure how I feel about it. On one hand it will get more people to play this brilliant game, but on the other, I don't see it having a positive effect on the value of my sealed copy. Oh well, I guess it wall always have sentimental value.

i find it funny that they want to wait for a game that might never come. and for content that isn't relevant in the first place.

in all that time they could have played and beat ToV 100x over and even at a fraction of the price but refuse to because it has a pirate girl that doesn't even fit the story... that is the definition of a fanboy.

It a matter of pride not Fanboy Douchebag i played all tales games on playstation series and gameCube/Wii i just don't see a reason to buy a xbox TOV that has less content then a ps3 TOV that has more content it brings more experience to the player and also if i buy Xbox TOV then a ps3 TOV comes out then i will feel like a Douchebag for getting the incomplete version.. i rather play something that add 1-6 hours of gameplays to make it last longer...i am no fanboy just human pride..

ps: i own all 3 consoles if they brought it as download content then i will buy it on Xbox360 version...

Patty fitted in the story Just fine ( i know because i've finished teh PS3 version ).
This isn't a character in the background ..several parts of the story has been modified in the ps3 version meaning more dongeons , more fights , more boss fights . Heck flynn is playable as a regular character and is present during lots of moments now ( he comes and goes ). Having a real magic swordman in your party changes completly how you play some dongeons believe me .( because YES there are some new enenmies here and there )

You're the fanboy .
The PS3 version has more of everything , including more extra quests , more skills , more shortcuts to place your artes , more scenes , more voices. Heck they even placed characters from the Vesperia movie in IT.( even more content )

Also patty fit in the story more than you think ( i could spoil you some keys moments but you're not worth it ) but let me just tell you that there is a big reveal concerning her past that affect a lot of things concerning the TOV world in itself. Heck she is the gran child of airfried, and airfried is a friend of DON in vesperia world. if you've played past "tales of" games you should understand how significant this is .

There are so many changes that a DLC is IMPOSSIBLE to make. Anyone you've played both version will tell you that
