With the reveal of spiderman: edge of time is it finally time for spiderman to take off? First off I'm a huge Marvel fan, but as far as marvel hero's having a good game MEHHHH. Wolverine's game was pretty well received and I enjoyed it alot but lets face it thats pretty much it. Batman already has the crown for best comic adaptation, so where does that leave us? Before Shattered Dimensions the spiderman franchise was kind of in a slump, repetitive and boring. Shattered Dimensions opened us up alittle but still wanting more. It leaves us wondering how the new game will tack up. I've read the details for Edge of Time and I'm a little skeptical, but hoping still. The switch from a sandbox style game to a more linear approach was a good idea I think. This game, from the look of it will still follow that same formula giving us a fresh take on spidey: again. Please give us more action specifically targeting what spidey does best. Wall crawling, fast paced beat'em up sequences, and more use of his web techniques in unique ways. Don't Forget FIX THE DAMN CAMERA WHEN WALL CRAWLING. And be able to wall crawl anywhere. Only time will tell with more details and gameplay footage if Spidey has was it takes to take Marvel comics to the level DC comics has achieved. Im keeping my finger's crossed. COME ON SPIDEY YOU CAN DO IT. Also We have Thor and Captain America to fall back on. More Captain America though LMAO
The friendly folks over at Razer recently sent us their full size Kishi Ultra mobile gaming controller, and this thing didn't disappoint.
VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "Upon finally finishing Devil May Cry 5 recently - after it spent several years on my “I’ll play that soon” list - I considered giving it a fittingly-named Late Look article. However, considering that this was indeed the final piece I was missing in the DMC puzzle, I decided to instead take this opportunity to take a look back at the entirety of this genre-defining series and rank the entries. What also made this a particularly tempting notion was that while most high-profile series have developed fairly evenly over time, with a few bumps on the road, the history of Devil May Cry has, at least in my eyes, been an absolute roller coaster, with everything from total disasters to action game gold."
3,1,4,5 to me, never played 2. 5 gameplay is amazing but level design was really disappointing to me, just a bunch of plain arenas, the story felt like a worse written rehash of the 3rd and the charater models looked weird ( specially the ladies ). Another problem with 5 was that there was not enough content for 3 charaters so I could never really familiarize with any of them

God DMC2 was an awful game.
And in case this isn't obvious it goes worst to best
Order changes depending on your focus. I tend to focus on gameplay/fun factor, so...
5, 3, 1, 4, 2.
I really didn't like 4 but commend Dante's weapon diversity. The retreading of old ground was pretty unacceptable to me.
But even then... Still more enjoyable than 2 for me
TSA go hands on with the beta for Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, but how is the game transitioning to the post-stylus era?
But Spiderman does need alot of space and freedom, But snadbox style wasn't utilised well...Spider-Man 2 the first game to do that was great and worked well. AFter that mind numbing bad games came out with awful repitive and dull missions. Spider Man got alot of potential more so then other heros due to this abilities.
Just turn Spider-Man into a first-Person game like Mirrors Edge haha now that would be mind blowing doing arcobatics in the air in first-Person haha
The only linear Spiderman games of which I have enjoyed were the original "Spiderman" & "Spiderman 2: Enter Electro" for the Playstation 1 & "Spiderman" for the PS2. However, the greatest Spiderman games of all time were easly "Spiderman 2" for the Xbox or Playstation 2 and "Ultimate Spiderman", both open-world and two of the greatest games of all time. Simply fantastic entries to the super-hero genre. I want a glorious return to the open-world approach, "Web of Shadows" was quite a poor entry, but had some intriguing ideas, unfortunately its execution was awful...
If they just take what they did in Shattered Dimensions and Improve upon it i'd be happy as that was the best spider-man game since Ultimate Spider-Man. I'd rather just something like an Ultimate Spider-Man 2 as it was my favorite one yet.
Spiderman's rogues gallery is my second favorite behind Batman's so i would love for this next game to be something special.
