New engine was announced for next Modern Warfare a couple weeks back.

However even that wont make me buy it, Uncharted 3 & Battlefield 3 are at the top of my list.

I will be shocked if MW3 sells less than Black Ops. Problem is most of everybodys friends buy it and if you want to play with them you have to wind up buying it yourself.

i agree, you know some people buy the game for the campaign and not just for the multiplayer, so all thoes ppl that say they arent gonna buy it just play the multiplayer and that is a FACT. i want to know what happens to soap and price so yeah totally getting this, the multiplayer is just an extra for me, speaking of extras i hope they keep the spec ops cuz they were fun :)

Yep, the same design and still to this point, no one can even come close to making an FPS to even compete with its multiplayer. Homefront, BF2, Killzone, MAG, so-on and so-on, fail, fail, and more fail.

A real competitor needs to step up before we can crucify COD. Belive me, I would love to see someone beat it down, but it just hasn't happened yet.

Guitar Hero actually had competition in Rock Band. COD may kill itself, but not till someone steps up to actually compete with it which hasn't happened so far. Besides, music games are far more of a niche than FPS's.

It sounds like they need to hire as many lemmings as possible to get this thing out this year. Must b proficient but as to take orders and meet a deadline. There's been no announcement or anything. This is interesting. For the first time, I believe that they are feeling pressure. It isn't treyarch, its their bread and butter infinity Ward without west and zampella. Dice is serious this time in upping the ante. We may just see a power shift...finally!

I couldn't help but make a comment about this bullet point under the job specs:

Discuss the strengths of weaknesses of recent games. That sounds about right. Discuss the problems of previous CoD games but don't bother putting any effort into preventing the same problems arising upon release. Instead they will release and see if anyone notices the problems and then if enough people complain they will fix it within the next 3 months.
Black Ops was released with the same problems MW2 was released with (party issues). You would have thought that would have been one of their main priorities, not to make the same mistake twice.

This game will probably be using the same game engine but with slight modifications so that they can spend some time fixing the same problems as the last CoD games. I can't see it being different from previous titles. :/

No offence but the evidence pointing to Modern Warfare 3 is the fact the franchise makes a bucket load for money bleeders Activision. It's a cash cow, we don't need evidence, we know it's coming.
Quite frankly, COD could do with missing a year, it's becoming very stale.
