iPad: Most Wanted Nintendo Games (Modojo)

Unlike Sega, Nintendo will probably remain in the console business, competing with Sony and Microsoft for market domination. That notwithstanding, the publisher has a variety of games that we'd love to see on the iPad.

Mario. Mario Mario Mario. Need more Mario.

Buff10444782d ago

I think Paper Mario would work best on the iPad, as opposed to something like SMB3.

Stealth20k4782d ago

why wouldnt nintendo be in systems? They are always 1/2 in portables and handhelds

Buff10444782d ago

I am not sure what you mean by that.

soren4782d ago

Buff10444782d ago

metsgaming4781d ago

thats what angry birds is just a type of game you would get on a free games site.

Aarix4781d ago

Dont talk S*** about world of goo.

_LarZen_4781d ago

There aint any Nintendo games I would like on the iPad...but there are alot of other games on the DS I would love on it.

Professor Layton would be perfect!

With so many good games on the iDevices Nintendo realy should be scared. I wil not be picking up a 3DS the 25th....its all about the iPad 2 for me.

Pikmin 4 is great. The new camera system made everything better.

Cacabunga72d ago

I like the concept of this game but it really gets boring in the long run. Nintendos flagship could be F-Zero, they really need to bring it back

-Foxtrot72d ago

I’d prefer a StarFox spin off like the GameCube Adventure games. I found them to be fun despite being different to the main core games.

RaiderNation72d ago (Edited 72d ago )

@-Foxtrot

I'd love a new Star Fox game done in a similar format to Starlink, but with a better story and better enemy variety.

Nebaku72d ago

Every subsequent F-Zero sold worse than the prior.

If it's a flagship title, I think the flag will sink with the ship.

MrBaskerville72d ago

I love Pkimin 4, but wish they'd lean more into the rts aspects of the game. Would be interesting if you were using pikmin to gather resources and building stuff. Wouldn't mind if it strayed a iittle bit away from the cozy game territory. Atleast in spin-off.

MrBaskerville72d ago

Everyone hated the rts sections or what?

ifinitygamer72d ago

The "next gen console update" part of this is so clickbaity. The Nintendo president offered an update that they have nothing to update us on.

Crows9072d ago (Edited 72d ago )

I'm all in for a new Nintendo generation if they can give us

New smash
New Mario party
New Metroid
New Zelda both in 3d and 2d
New starfox
New IP
New and better pokemon game that really advances the IP

ifinitygamer72d ago

So you want all new Nintendo games from every franchise lol
Not making fun but it's like every major franchise, minus Mario for some reason?

talocaca72d ago

I live in Japan and Pikmin 4 did surprisingly well. Tons of collaborations and marketing. Even now they play ads on the trains.

One of my favorite franchises ♥️

Review - Pikmin 1 (Switch) | WayTooManyGames

WTMG's Leo Faria: "For better or for worse, this is now the easiest and most practical way to play Pikmin, and figure out why has this franchise managed to stand the test of time for so long. I particularly didn’t understand the hype. To me, Pikmin is average at best. It’s a game that has aged poorly, especially when it comes to these dated controls. The fact this wasn’t even a remaster, but a bare bones upscaled port of a game from 2001, certainly didn’t help. It did nothing to fix its many issues, nor did it receive improvements in its visuals, audio, or performance. It can be fun for a while, and having yet another (costly) way to have it preserved for the future is nice, but I certainly am not enamored with the franchise after playing it. I’d rather just stick to Tinykin."
