GameSpot: Trenched First Look

Trenched is a hybrid between tower-defense strategy and third-person mech warfare. Having had the chance to check out Trenched last night, GameSpot came away impressed with just how well this game hit the sweet spot between blowing stuff up and cerebral tactics.

Sweet. MS should consider compiling a top 10 xbla game and put it on retail disc for those that do not have internet or have high bandwidth prices like South Africa.
Limbo
Braid
Trials
Shadow Complex
Geometric Wars 2
Castle Crashers
Super Meat Boy
Scot Pilgrim vs the world
ilomilo
Zombies vs Plants
I'd buy that.

That disk would and should cost well over $100. Probably should be more like $150.

This is a fun idea.. Since Microsoft like to use the made up word 'core', why not XBLA Core Volumes.

Volume 1

Braid
Plants Vs Zombies
Beyond Good and Evil HD

Volume 2

Geometry Wars 2
Super Meat Boy
Shadow Complex

Volume 3

Trials
Limbo
Laura Croft

Volume 4

Toy Soldiers
Raskulls
Castle Crashers

Volume 5

ilomilo
'Splosion Man
Torchlight

Volume 6

Puzzle Quest II
Galaga Legions
Marvel vs. Capcom 2

Arguabley some of these games aren't hardcore (or 'core'.) But to heck with it, they're all good games

I'd give it to Trine 2. Minecraft is extremely overrated.

Yeah, Clash of Heroes! The best PSN title of 2011, I absolutely loved that game. Sadly it was overlooked by most people.
