Mass Effect 3, Uncharted 3 or Arkham City? - Which one are you most excited about?

I'd have to go with Batman ME3 didnt look very good at all. EA has ruined bioware turning ME from an rpg in to a shooter has them rushing out games left and right. They use to take their time and put out a game about every couple of years now they have games coming out every 6 month and it really shows that these games are rushed.

I read that Nolan intends to make The Dark Knight Rises the final film in his trilogy and then after that call it a day on the Batman franchise. Bale has stated that he will only work with Nolan on any other Batman films, so if the studio execs want to keep making Batman films they'll have to do it without Nolan or Bale; which of course will be the most redundant thing ever.

This is good news. Nolan obviously knows when to quit while he's ahead and by doing this he won't jump the shark. His trilogy will go down in history as being one of the greatest in film; completely unspoiled *cough* Indiana Jones *cough*.

We all saw ME3 trailer. Lets face it in terms of details and animation bioware is lightyears away from ND. But as far as which game will be better it will depend on the individual. Completely different genres. No comparison and throwing a super hero game into an RPG vs third person shooter / platformer is even more lame. How can anyone compare.

Having a bigger storyline which an RPG by default should have does not make it a better game. If you think UC2 won a record GOTY awards because of graphics alone you must be deluded. Animations, superb set pieces , perfect fusion of platforming shooting , cutscenes , absolute pitch perfect pacing and the 16th chapter showed what absolute command they had over the medium much like an excellent conductor over a symphony . UC2 was masterclass no matter how much you like ME2. If you expect UC2 to have moral choices , character upgrades and a bigger storyline then you are seriously deluded.I am not saying ME2 is not a good game. All I am saying is the genres are different and UC2 is sooo pitch perfect that nothing else in its genre comes even remotely course IMO

As excited I might be for the other two games as well, I don't remember any major jaw dropping moments like in the Uncharted games.

But I must say that almost everything that happened in both Uncharted 1 and 2 story wise you could see comming before it happened. I personally like the "oh my god I barely saved myself from falling" moments. Maybe because I don't think too much about story and logic while playing a game like this, I just go with the flow. And you can die in them if they catch you off guard. Happens to me, I'm not a pro gamer. But if you pass them on first try without knowing it was there and Drake says "oh my god we were almost in there" it feels good. But that's not particularly what I was refering to.

Mainly I meant the over the top cinematic moments and camera angles. Or things like the tibetan village in Uncharted 2, a totally peaceful, relaxing gameplay moment which was just incredible that they put this in there. Swimming in a pool on the roof of a hotel...there are a lot of details like this in ND's games, which just shows how much they love what they are doing.

Did you see the way the sand sunk under Drakes footprints but rose around the edges? So Freaking real, its unbelievable.

Sorry to say it, but I'm almost certainly skipping Arkham City.

B:AA was really good, but I only played it through twice which is pretty marginal for $60. In a normal year I would pick up Arkham City on day one, but 2011 isn't a normal year and I'm going to have to make some tough decisions on what to play and what to skip over or delay until 2012.

To be honest, the fact that ME2(PS3) is coming out so close to Dead Space 2 and Killzone 3, coupled with the fact that ME3 is coming out so close to Uncharted 3 and Elder Scrolls 5 makes me want to skip over the entire Mass Effect franchise. I don't doubt that it's great, but at this point Bioware is asking me to give up a lot just for that one series.

Mass Effect 3, Dead Space 2 and Arkham City for me. Haven't played any Uncharted yet, other than the first one. Don't look at me like that. It's on my to-do list.

Until I know more about Skyrim, that is Mass Effect 3. I need an RPG in my life, well atleast I got New Vegas to keep my busy and I might pick up Demon's Souls.
