I wish that upon reveal, they would promise us a simultaneous release for the Japanese and US versions!

Cloudberry4887d ago

.
And Graces F English announcement while we wait for Xillia...

VsAssassin4887d ago

Or better yet, Tales of Graces F bundled with Xillia on launch!!!

Kain814887d ago

Tales of Grace F bundled with Tales of Vesperia would be my Choice..

Kurisu4887d ago

I hope this game comes to the UK (or US, then I can import) as I've never played a Tales of game before, and I really want to. I was hoping Vesperia would come out, but no :(

BillOreilly4886d ago

buy used 360 from craigslist for 50 bucks and play tales of vesperia. Then you can play lost odyssey/blue dragon/magna carta 2/in undiscovery also. Its worth getting a 360 if your a jrpg/wrpg fan as 360 has the best ones. Thats why i got mine. Best 80 dollars ever spent over 2years ago.

GameOn4886d ago

Tales of vesperia is deffo worth buying a console for. Might get a PS3 for these new ones.

VsAssassin4887d ago

As much as I want to shun the idea, I can't help it. I still hope to see Tales games to be localized! :(

Redempteur4887d ago

i kniow right ?

we tales of fans ..can still keep the hope a little and keep dreaming that someone at namco will have some INT in their stats

xino4887d ago

F**K OFF!

All these farking tales trash games!
they are all the same sh*! Fucking copy and paste and never add anything new/unique or groundbreaking.

To top it all off, they don't freaking release the game outside Japan!

Redempteur4886d ago (Edited 4886d ago )

Lol
go away troll.

If you don't see how the tales of game evolved over the year then you haven't played them

xino4886d ago

only played Symphonia, looking forward to play Vesperia but never got release on ps3 for Western!

tell me, what as evolved? over the years in terms of gameplay breakthrough, news features and unique features!

Redempteur4886d ago (Edited 4886d ago )

Simple you'll know if you've played them but for instance i'll tell you.

Symphonia ( GC )was the first Tales of game to go 3D ( a 3D area to do battles ) you can look at legendia battle system to see how it is different.

Then Abyss ( PS2 )Came and introduced the ability ( if you want ) to move freely in that 3D space. making the battles even more tactical as you have to manually move to escape Areas where a big spell is being casted ( it was quite harder to do that in symphonia ).

Dawn of the new world ( Wii ) introduced a Monster capture system complete with fusion and evolutions , allowing you to customise a team with monsters if you want.

Now that was easy ..i took 3 fairly recent titles to show you how they CHANGE their BATTLE system EACH TIME and what's more those titles got translated !!

Let's flashback ..Tales of rebirth ( PS2 ) introduced a variant of the old linear battle system ( eternia , i'll cover this one soon ) . That was before teh serie went 3D and used a system similar to fatal fury real bout with 3 planes to move to and fight. This game ,is not translated however.

So far i talked about 4 games in completly different settings with Completly different battle systems.

i could continue but i guess right now that you understand how stupid you sounded . Bear in mind that these modification change completly how you play the game.

NO i won't talk yet about Tales of eternia , with the most fluid battle system ever done in 2D . Yes more fluid than most fighting system out there , check this vid :

if you don't know.

And for the last time before you rant about something , you'd better know about it first.

Looking Back At 2008, An Unbelievably Incredible Year Of Video Game Releases

Huzaifa from eXputer: "2008 was home to the likes of Call of Duty: World at War, Dead Space, GTA 4, Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead, and many other hits, which is outright remarkable."

CrimsonWing6928m ago

I don’t think anything can compare to 2023

lucasnooker15m ago

1998 - the best year in gaming! Metal gear solid, crash bandicoot 3, medievil, half life, ocarina of time, thief, tenchu, resident evil 2, Spyro, tomb raider 3, oddworld abes exodus, banjo kazooie.

It was a different breed of a gaming era. You’ll never understand what it was like back then. The aura of gaming, it was different!

KyRo5m ago(Edited 3m ago)

I second this. Gaming was a lot more varied and fun than it is today. I'm 35 so getting on compared to some here but I got to see all the changes from NES up to now but I've never felt so disappointed in any generation than I have this current gen. I was expecting more from this generation rather than prettier versions of games that came before it. Game mechanics have become so refined that alot of games feel the same and has done for a while now.

Maybe it's time to have a break for a while. I love gaming but I don't feel I get much fun in the traditional sense out of it anymore.

6 Fun Games Where You Actually Play As The Bad Guy

While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.

Profchaos6h ago

Pretty much all of these games listed are based around a morality system you don't have to be bad and you don't have to be good.

It seems to have left out some real amazing games like red dead redemption 1/2,ass effect and true crime la/ny

Tacoboto5h ago

Armored Core VI?

Ok, I'm really missing something here. Just beat chapter 3 earlier this evening, unlocked A-rank Arena fights. I'm not seeing or sensing any branching paths or morality system and I've done every side mission and arena fight available to me up to that fight.

Is something big coming soon to branch the story?

No mention of Grand Theft Auto? Saints Row (original trilogy), Manhunt? Also The Suffering (depending on the ending you get).

I never got around to mass effect - I’m skeptical that it would hold up if I were to try it now

Furesis22h ago

I would say it does. The combat is a bit shit for todays standards but everything else is great.

anast20h ago

It's worth a play through today.
