They probably don't think they need Uncharted 2 because they have Gears. But U2 is waaaaay better than Gears. Everyone needs to play Uncharted 2 at least once. I had to tell my cousin about U2, and he was kinda like "meh". But he recently told me that he finally got it and loved it. I've never heard him talk about a game with such enthusiasm. He even went for the platinum.

Uncharted 2 is a reason to buy a PS3 in my book.

The only game on the PS3 worthy of the 360 is the KZ franchise. I own a PS3 and it's got the worst line up of games ever considering it's 4 years old. This year had/has the worst line up of games...nothing for anyone with any kind of skills. I haven't bought one game on the thing this year. If it wasn't for LBP, no one would of even used it at all around here.

Resistance is a rip off of Halo. Uncharted is a rip off of everything ( Indiana Jones story, platforming stolen from Prince of Persia, Gears cover system ) and really is a children's game that kids don't even want to play...O_o...HR isn't even a game, Infamous is a rip off of Star Wars Force unleashed and gets owned by that game. GOw is a nice 8-10 hr rental. MGS4 while it looks nice, you will never finish because it's old and dated with terrible game play. GT 5 is a car sim where you go around in circles till you start yawning and quit...there's nothing. M$ and 360's line up this year COMPLETELY outclassed PS3 in every way possible including multi-platform games that looked, played and sold better on the versatile 360.

The $200 360 had the best line up in gaming...

i have both, and whilst there are some great games on the ps3, it's exclusives are not the be all and end all of gaming.

i have a ps3 for the exclusives i couldnt live without.. uncharted, kz, gt and well, thats about it really. i didnt eve buy mag after they made the game with the shoulder buttons to fire.

sorry kids, the ps3 is a great console with some unmissable games, i think the same applies to the 360 aswell.

for me, ps3 for blu-rays and SOME of its exclusives, and the 360 for everything else. the last game i played on the ps3 was gow3. the next will be gt5 and then kz3. whilst my 360 gets used 10x more.

Crackdown 2 is mediocre when compared to the previous one in the series or other sand box games for that matter, Fable 3 is going to once again another over hyped game which most likely will not measure up to the hype. Like ven1000 said their is Grand Turismo for Forza 3, I think you meant gears three which is going to be more of gears 2 which was also just more of the first one. Gears three is going to sell more then the bible, Hyperbole, and Halo reach is Halo Reach.

...the only Xbox franchise I would really like to see would be Fable. But not as a multiplat. Can you imagine how massive and deep Fable could be if it were PS3 exclusive? But it won't happen ever so that's that.

Playstation always has and always will have the best exclusive games that cover the widest range of genres.

I also really thought KZ2 would be on this list along with possiblyu the Resistance franchise. Xbox gamers clearly enjoy the FPS genre more than others and it surprised me to see Demon's Souls and Valkyrie Chronicles on this list. If DS and VC were on 360 they wouldn't probably get any more attention than say ... Alan Wake (LOL, had to throw that jab in there LOL).

Anyways, you could go on and on about 360 vs. PS3 but bottom line is Playstation has been smacking Xbox around since '08 and it isn't going to stop. Sony has great devs and Xbox just buys timed exclusivity and dlc.

Writing, and comedic writing esp, are 90% about timing and the timing and pacing of U2 is just about the best thing about it. Most gags are old and it's down to people to use them at the right moment and in the right way and that is something Uncharted excels at. Not your cup of tea? That's fine too-the vast, over whelming majority of gamers have never played and have zero interest in ever playing a Halo game and that series gets by just fine without them, no?

Just saying that what is "perfect" for one man is irrelevant to the next but , surely, we should all be able to agree if something is of a good quality even if it isn't our cup of warm brown. Just as Halo is a finely crafted series Uncharted also has it's good points. I really don't feel people can say there's a lack of quality in U2 and esp not when looking at it as a product of it's aims. the thing with lists like this is they're entirely subjective-you tend to buy the console which has the games you like best anyway(if you only buy one that is),there's shedloads on them all and I haven't got time to fit the buggers in as it is!

That said, if I had no PS3 I'd feel worst about losing out on MGS4 as it's still, imho, head and shoulders above anything else this generation-the often ignored freedom in the gameplay and variety of gameplay styles is almost as great an achievement as Koj managing to wind all those loose ends together in the plot. To me it's genius but never have I seen a game so derided by so many who never played it. Sadly, that's going to be the lasting memory of gamers this generation
in my mind- daft pettiness.

LBP1/2, Joe Danger, Sports Champions, Heavenly Sword, Folklore, Team Ico:Collection, Sly:Collection, Mortal Kombat:Collection, MGS4, Uncharted 1/2, Tumble, Flower, Wipeout HD, MAG, Killzone 2/3 and Warhawk.

See that why it`s nice having both systems. I get to play the best games IMO and all the games you like, if I choose to.

same as xbox games. probably they are good for its population, but i simply can't remember one xbox game beside Venetica that i really wanted to play. something about that game just reminds me on Primal and ohhh, god i loved that game. lucky me, xbox version was crippled (not bashing xbox, read game forums) so i didn't need to buy xbox, although i was in real doubts, felling i have of that game is console seller for me. and lucky again, game is coming to ps3 now.

please do not mention how i would love Reach, AW and Mass Effect. tried them and all i can say (in games order) is i hate FPS, mediocre and repetitive horror and clumsy aiming. simply not my cup of cake. same as UC2, i love UC1 (probably 3rd best game ever with MGS4 for me) and treat UC2 as over exaggerated "need more action in second one"

Sorry, but as a 360 owner KZ and UC aren't something I care about. They're just shooters and I have Gears and Halo. I'd be more interested in something like GoW, Heavy Rain, Infamous, Demon Souls, Last Guardian or GT. I will be buying a PS3 but KZ, UC and Resistance are not priorities for me in anyway. I don't see why everyone can't have both consoles, especially this far into this gen. The only people who have zero interest in any of the other two consoles they don't have are fanboys.

Gears Of War and Halo don't interest me but they're clearly of a triple A caliber and I regognize that. And let's just say I did own both consoles and rent most of my games, where does that leave me when thos generation ends? Demon's souls, ICO(all 3), Heavy rain and VC (there is probably more of those) are probably original games where alternative doesn't exists and they really deserve envy. There simply is no comparable experience.

Why envy GT5 when one has Forza? both are racing games. sure, graphics are better and GT5 brings more to table, but is that really enough to be envious? if one just wants to race feeling is probably the same.

Granted I'm not too big on shooters so I dont have much to play on the 360 at the moment, but still glad I've got both systems for those rare gems. doesn't change the fact that I appreciate my PS3 a lot more though and its gets more play time. IDK, I'm a happy owner of multiple platforms for my gaming delectation(and frequent bone shattering, humiliating defeats)and the exclusives on these platforms REALLY interest me. I like to see what is possible with what I have and exclusives are the only way when the cheif concern of every multiplat(barring, maybe, Crysis2, we'll see) is parity and/or getting the HD console version as close to the PC as possible. It's only the exclusives that show what your hardware, and the developers, really can do technically-call me a whore but that DOES interest me. With Wii, move and Kinect that's doubly so because I want to see incredible new ways of gaming given flight by amazoing new games by imaginative devs and that's going to be exclusives too.

It' doesn't have to be fanboy BS concerning exclusives-it's where I feel the true innovation is more likely, where devs get more time and money(often) and so on. It's why I'm excited by Gears3(how much can they squeeze out of the 360 this time?), why I'm always pleased to see another SMG, why Halo is still interesting as it keeps it's symbiosis with it's platform and Live, why KZ3 interests me with it's determination to push PS3 visuals ever further and so on. It's why Sorcery excites me and why I was disappointed with the conservative attitude of a lot of devs making Wii games with surface, vague waggle rather than proper, thought out motion controls. Exclusives are the best chances we have to see what's possible without the shackles of working to the limits of each systems weaknesses rather than their strengths.

I own most of the PS3 exclusives worth talking about and all the XBox titles worth talking about. Personally, I would trade God of War, inFamous, and Gran Turismo for Ratchet/Clank, Uncharted and Warhawk in the list.

inFamous and Prototype are almost the same game (I like Prototype more, but it is opinion) and Forza 3 is a really good realistic racer, and there are tonnes of multi-platform God of War type games (Darksiders, Dante's Inferno, the new Castlevania in two weeks, etc). They aren't better then God of War, but they are solid games in the genre.

For those saying Killzone... Ummmm... I'll just say there are better exclusive shooters on 360.

The other runner ups would be Yazuka 3, 3D Dot Game Heros, Motorstorm and LBP... All of which would be much lower on my priority list though as they are good but not great games.

1) that part just shows you have no basic clue about Demon's souls, gameplay wise or online.

2) the server shutdown only plays in NA version (Atlus has financial troubles), there could simply be patch to redirect them to other servers (just not to EU, please, enough they sticked australians with us).

3) i actually agree with the part of the comment where ukilnme said i want xbox to get DS or PD. more people=more fun, as long as it is regionally separated. last thing i'd like to see is constant lag stabbing as way of how you play the game (you can recognize lager by way how he runs in that game, if i try that move against someone with equally good connection backstab is impossible). tried NA version and simply returned it. there is way to much lag for network traffic between eu and america to be playable. not to mention that i saw 7 double backstabs in 2 days (1 single on asian in 1 year and none on EU, if player has hit range of half sword or more too much, i simply disconnect. i simply got fed up with aussies hitting you from 10m away).

1. From 2004 to 2009 the number of media outlets handing out GOTY tripled from when Half Life 2 came out.
